i had a baby 600 monster in ducati red i bought it brand new in 1997. i used it daily rain or shine as a 40 mile a day commuter and did some sunday rides out with the lads.i kept it for five years before selling it on to a workmate with 30 thousand miles on it. im a 20 stone fat bloke but that little bike never ever let me down.i know it is still around somewhere unused god i wish i could have it back,i loved it.

Been trying to sell my 2000 monster dark 600 for two years now but every time I try polish a bit more value into it prior to taking some pictures for the sale add I fall back in love with it and decide next year, I'll definitely sell it next year lol. Don't know why but I just love it, I just do.

Dave H ... been there. I should’ve kept her. Seriously: I sold a 600 dark after one year for the Aprilia 1000 falco. But today, I seriously consider adding a smaller, basic, agile bike, like a scrambler, but I cant forget those sensations on that little dark monster torque machine.

I hear you, I have a 99 Monster 750 and I don’t think I’m ever going to sell it
@kennethsayce86452 жыл бұрын
My first monster was a 97 750 I have done about 300,000 kms on it and I still have it I rebuilt it at about 220.000 kms and hotted it up just for fun, I also have a 97 900 my son and I both own this one, today I just got back from a 1200 km ride in NSW AUS on the M900 it ran great, I also have a 95 m600 I and building for a friend. the monsters are a great bike good performance, great handling, very good brakes and a riding position that you can do a lot of Kms on.

IMHO, the new monsters look far better, sure they looked disappointing when I first saw them but heck! They have grown on me so much that I love the new monsters more than the previous gens.

The monster stopped being a monster from 2013 onwards. 1/2 trellis frame, water cooled, 4 valve engined monsters never encompassed the same spirit or feeling. New models may be faster and easier to ride but the last great monster was the 2012 1100EVO.

Full of mistakes !! To start, in 1992, the video show a M600 (1994)... And it's only the first picture. I stopped the video after a few seconds...

True, the first is a M600.

This video is all wrong! The first Monster went into production in 1993 and was red (I have one). Yellow models didn't come out until 94, and the model here is clearly a 600 anyway, as it doesn't have an oil cooler. Many of the other models shown are wrong too, but I can't be arsed to list them or I'd be here all day!

Most of the models and years are incorrect. Also, significant models were missed.

Full trellis frame and a metal tank or it's NOT a Monster :-)
Keep hanging on to that. Guess if it doesn't have a hand crank and wood spoke wheels...Move on.

That's impossible 'cos the japs are the biggest copycats in motors and so any of their bikes looks like some machine else in the world....

Es casi la misma moto en 20 años y casi todas monocolor son un trasto ruidosas mecanicamente y no tienen ni la finura y el diseño de las japonesas.
@davidreyesaguilera23662 жыл бұрын
Ducatis are unique and less common, all I see in my area are Japanese bikes and when ever I ride mine people will be staring at it all the time, the design and the sound alone is better, A 20 year old bike that still turns heads you can’t beat that.
@carlobrotto71324 ай бұрын
