I have one and took it on the track a few weeks ago. It’s incredibly capable but I feel like the OE tires are its weakest point, at least in a track environment. It’s very easy to ride, hanging off feels natural and transitions from left to right are easy. The brakes are fantastic. Power delivery has no dips and pulls hard to redline. The quickshifter is sublime. No hiccups at all. And the other electronics are so transparent that I never feel it when they are working. It’s a fantastic motorcycle and is objectively better than any Monster that came before it. I don’t care about trellis frames so it’s a non issue for me.

I have just bought the monster + 2021 last week. It's a beautiful bike and rides great. Don't care about the trellis frame.

Apart from tail tidy I think belly pan would be nice and rad guard

Good comments about SP Monster

My dealer leant me a standard Monster whilst my 950 Multi was in for a service. I was very impressed. Very lively. It felt a bit mental actually. The trellis frame doesn't bother me. Nobody moaned about the Panigale not having a trellis frame. I am lucky to have one of the original 93 monsters, which I love. The new one keeps the attitude of the original, but with a modern twist

Good ground clearance. I'm not bothered about no being able to see a frame, but I'd like to see the engine. Really light but rather expensive. I wouldn't want one, anyway. Good review, Tony.

I own the Anniversaro version of this. I owned the SP first. I’m a life long monster fan. She’s special,

What a beautiful bike, the level of detail in it is superb, I am not a great fan of naked bikes, but Ducati would be on my list if I was buying one. Good to see you back on a bike.

Good review. I own a Triumph 765 Street Triple RS.... but prefer the look of the Ducati..... there's something about Italian bikes!

It's a beauty! For all that people that complain about the lack of the classic trellis frame of The Monster, just take a test drive. I did it, and it has the best performance of a Monster ever. The competition in this category is hard: Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, KTM 890/990 Duke R, Yamaha MT09SP. All are great bikes, I prefer better the explosive torque from low rmp and the cornering excel of the Duke, but de New Monster has almost the same performance and a better finish. The only thing I don't like of the Monster SP is the price.

Not my bag, but what a striking looking bike. Best looking monster by far I think.

Almost went for one of these beauties (or the +) but my Blade dealership didn’t have a test bike (or even one in the shop) and even though online I loved the look, I wasn’t willing to risk it without riding one. 😢

As always need to win the lottery before a visit to the Ducati showroom, looks a real beauty. 👍

Wish they made a Multi V2S version, love the colour scheme, rumours are though that they may be putting a retuned Streetfighter V2 engine in it next time.

I have to admit I always liked the Trellis framed Monsters but time and technology move on even my other favorite naked twin the Harley-Davidson Sportster is no longer a regular framed motorcycle. But I'm sure being a Ducati its goes and handles very well and looking good while doing it.

It's lovely. But where is Ducati 's model in the 4-500 cc market, which is growing all the time. Ride safe 👍

A very good question! Considering this bikes roots in the 60’s and 70’s with the old 250, 350 and 450 bikes

Still looks like a Hyosing to me, not attractive at all. S4RS remains the ultimate Monster

Love the livery, and wish I lived in different circumstances. Unfortunately, I need a city bike, with occasional cruise options. Maybe someday….it’s a nice bike. 👍🤪🏳️🌈

Near £300 for heated grips! I would rather have the 2025 Honda CB1000 Hornet SP and have loads of spare cash.

Ducati could've changed the name instead of retaining the brand monster but thats just my opinion.

Needs a bellypan, looks like the engine has fallen out of the frame. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but its not for me, too much like a Moto Guzzi Breva.
