Good vid. Had my Multistrada for about 7 months now and loving every minute. Such a flexible bike, powerful enough to surprise the sports bikes and comfortable enough to chill back and ride all day. Definitely worth the money :)

RidingWithTom awesome man, was looking for a good comparison of the Ninja 1000 (regular or Z version) and the 636 since they're about the same price range, and just couldn't really find anything, so if you have a chance to try one of those, would be really appreciated

Sick looking bike! What is the intended purpose of a bike like this? Isn't it a bit heavy for dirt? Better options for the road?
@lewisyates210 жыл бұрын
Its a sports tourer, so if you like going fast but want to do it over long distance and in comfort, the multistrada can't be beaten. People have taken to racing the multistrada now with them being that quick and nimble for a touring motorbike. When's your next video going up anyway? It has been a while since we have seen Al crash..... again.

***** there is such a class of bikes called adventure bikes. Meaning they can be used for the road, and light trails, given the right tires are installed. being this a touring adventure bike, it would be better suited for the road, but can still go in the dirt just fine. Just make sure you have some semi-meaty tires on for grip. Think of it like the porche cayenne, prices excluded. it's an all terrain suv, but it's better on the road than off, unless its light trails. Very nice Ducati bike.

Ducati Traction Control. DTC Is also essentially wheelie control, if you turn off the DTC to 0. This bike is absolutely insane. Power wheelies 1st and 2nd easy. Pop the clutch in 2nd you don't need to blip the throttle at all and it pops right up. It's insane back, and fantastic in corners.

so do you like more than the hypstrada? i'd both bike and i felt more emotions on the hypermotard.... well i'd the SP 821 model. The mts 1200 it doesn't felt like the hm where you feel all the bike and the ground.... Here you feel just a great punch an torque... Very different.

If you can, try and get your buddy to look at the triumph rocket III, it still looks like a cruiser, but is also ridiculously fast for a cruiser. also the 2,300 cc three cylinder engine is pretty ridiculous too. Edit: The diavel is better at twisties, but I still think I would prefer the triumph for the overall bike.

I rode the pikes peak model with an exhaust with no baffle. My god what an animal, handling was perfect and it just doesn't ease off, think I hit 130 (kph obviously......) overtaking a car and it was still pulling hard.

Of course the mirrors are good, they look almost as big as the mirrors on my car. And how would you compare it to your bmw s1000rr as in practicality and comfort?
@MartinUnited9710 жыл бұрын
Ofcourse it's a lot more comfortable, it's a touring bike. It's also more practical if you get bags on the bag, but it depends on the biker you are.

I've had one since 2012. The PP. It can do the freroads up in the mountains and blast through the twisties also do a few thousands miles touring on the west coast US. I have a 1098 and it's just a track bike now. I've owned a low of bikes in 20yrs and this is certainly my favorite. It's been faultless reliability wise.
