Ducati V4 Crash/ Teardown Pt.4 | Swingarm Removal | Is It Straight?

Teardown update on the Ducati crash/ rebuild. This video, like the rest, is more of how I did it than a how to do it. It covers the removal of the swingarm and few other parts and checking to see how straight the swingarm is after the crash. A few DIY methods were used to check the parts at home.

Hello, first i m sory for the wreck.second i need your help. I have to change the front frame, and i m.on the point where my air box is open but i dont know how to remove the inside, you seem to do that easily and i don't want to break

Or miss the setup on anything so can you gîve me some insight and advice please. Ah and like you i m an amateur racer ( but in europe) and hope to race with this "new" bike

Well welcome to the fun times of working on the V4! After this project I found you can actually remove the front frame while leaving the Airbox in place. Remove the 4 frame bolts, the oil separator on the right & you can leave the hard coolant tube attached on the left. The frame will come off forward, just watch the starter cables & wire hardness attachments.

@@TxDucatiRacer that s what i was trying, but there are 4 littles screws for the entry of the air box and some tube/canister attached too it prevent me to extract the frame from the front :s

@@TxDucatiRacer and for the inside of the air box can we left the all module or we need to take it apart piece by piece ?
