He was her karma for leaving her husband and she was his excuse to avoid and run away from his duty to his country. All i can say is that she was a very brave woman to take on all the hate, anger and disrespect from the world while being stuck with a directionless man who was became dependent on her instead of taking care of and protecting her as a husband should.

It was a very different era, but in the end, we are all just imperfect people. They really loved each other. It's obvious by him abdicating the throne and her distress during his funeral and after his death. Love is strange sometimes. It makes sense to the ones in love, but not to the rest of the world. After I got married, my husband and I stayed in the Windsor suite at the Queen Mary ship Hotel, which is docked in Long Beach, California. The suite had the original furniture (don't know if they still do) and their pictures were on the walls. It's very vintage, classy, but quite simple. That was their suite when they travelled together by ship back in the day. The Queen Mary is much like a smaller version of the Titanic. My husband chose that for our honeymoon. :) Romantic, I guess. I read that Wallis died due to problems caused by smoking, bronchial pneumonia, which also affected her brain, narrowing the arteries which as a result caused dementia, and so on. Another really good video. Fascinating stuff.

Everything he did was to thumb his nose at the thought. His Royal Family and the People reacted to this as they did, which was quite appropriate. Wallace seemed to social climb. I cannot fathom how cruel she was to her husband Simpson. How anyone went along with her about all this, much less her Husband, is beyond me. Another great video thank you. I’ve read several books about her and the Duke of Windsor I’ve seen interviews of individuals that were told by their father they had met her Wallace Simpson. It’s been said allegedly and you may cover this in the video because I’m commenting before I said that they thought she was, not a man, but a inner sex individual, and then they go on to mention the characteristics that she had, which I find very interesting

She was an iconic woman. I think she was villianized to serve the crown. I am a amateur royal historian and ive looked deep into her life. I think we can see her as a tragic figure today but when she was alive she was despised.

I cringed when I heard you say she drank raw meat juice! Some of the stuff people ate and drank back then. Her husband was one of the worst people for 8:00 supporting Hitler. I guess you can say she lived a very unusual life. Please do a video on Carol Channing. She was a fascinating woman!

Contrary to popular opinion that she was not a beauty - she was in fact very beautiful in her late teens and 20’s. She had beautiful blue eyes contrasting with her glossy dark hair, good complexion and stunning square jaws. Women of today undergo plastic surgery to have her jaw line and her chin. She was stunning in my opinion. She was slim, elegant and smart. She was a total package. She was hated that was why she was never given her dues.
