Man that was a good race. You held your own there at the end, regardless of the mud. Really that's one of the better races I've seen all year. Good job, bro. You got a few ducks for the freezer and a top 5 on the track.😅 That is good. Thanks for letting me tag along. Take care, God Bless

It was great seeing the truck out there. I stayed in the stands with the wife that night or I would have come to help out. Saw you at the pit entrance from the stands was going to come talk to you but you were gone when I got there. Got some questions on your set up. Might be able to help. Hope to see you on play day. ✌️

Yea man it was good meeting you. Is there for sure going to be practice on new years? Might make it up for that

Don't forget, you had 250 lbs of mud on the right rear also.... Spray a mixture of diesel & transmission fluid on and under the car to keep the mud from sticking.
@CherezianRacing Жыл бұрын
We spray mineral oil under the car which is almost the same as baby oil

More RR load helps turn into the corner on the throttle, but will tighten entry when you lift. Yes you have 500lbs at ride height now, adding more yet would raise the ride height and add some bar angle at the same time..which would help keep from dumping so fast/far on the RR. Also agree with more RF shock rebound, at least betwen 0 and 2" per second.
@speed_ss Жыл бұрын
On a track like that, I would not be afraid to increase the RR load by 200lbs over standard 🤷🏻♂️
@CherezianRacing Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yea i could feel the RF popping up too quickly once i was off the gas. Not a good feeling
@speed_ss Жыл бұрын
@@CherezianRacing I agree! Makes it harder to drive with the Rf bobbing up and down too. RF rebound generally adds turning ability at the expense of traction, but if you can carry more mid-corner speed you don't need as much traction.. Also in general, tracks with longer corners you want more rebound to keep the car turning through the longer corner..in other words, if the RF spring releases before mid corner, it's going to cause a push and force you to make the rear end slide again to finish the corner. At tight corner tracks, less rebound helps with exit traction but you need the chassis to be able to rotate the tighter corner without relying on RF rebound to make it to turn. Hope this helps, I enjoy your videos and been watching for a few years!

Glad you enjoyed the duck hunt. I think part of the problem with your car is the lack of races for you to run in. It is difficult to tune the car because of the time between races. Keep digging

I'm willing to bet all the fuel in the fuel bowls is sloshing to the outside of the bowls causing you to loose fuel pressure. Key exaple is a Holley 4412 compared to a 4412CT, the 4412CT has special baffles in the fuel bowls to keep the fuel pressure up and is the carb for IMCA stock cars and some IMCA sport mods because of it
