We got muskies for days up here in Minnesota. Y'all should come on up and do some fishing on Leech Lake or Rainy Lake some summer. And because the water stays cooler, you can go swimming without worrying about water moccasins.

My mother had the lung procedure that Uncle Si is getting. It helped her a lot but, she had an undiagnosed cancer that finally took her to heaven.

Uncle Si, I had a heart attack this past March 2022 and they had to put a stint in my heart. At first the paramedics told me I wasn't having a heart attack. I knew I was and I told them " get me to the hospital now" !! When I got to the hospital....I hadn't been there but maybe 5 minutes and they said Yep!! She's having a heart attack. I had to wait because a man came in 4 minutes before me having a heart attack too and there was only one cardiologist. I told them I couldn't lay flat on my back for very long because I had back problems, so when they finally got me back there they went threw my wrist to get to my heart. What upset me was the paramedics. They told my husband I wasn't having a heart attack and he said these machines don't lie. Oh yes they do too!!! While I was in the ambulance the paramedic hands me some medication and it was all crushed up in a bowl. I'm laying there waiting on this dumbo to give me something to wash it down. I finally asked for some water? So he gives me some water. Now I'm laying there having a heart attack and holding this bowl that the medication was in and the water. I finally asked him, " could you please take this before I spill it "? I could barely hold my eyes open at this point. I was praying please Lord, don't let me die. Please let me live to see my grandchildren grow up. My husband couldn't leave and come with me because he was having vertigo attack. He couldn't drive. But Praise the Lord my daughter was with me once I got to the hospital. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't of had her. After they got the stint in my heart the doctor and the chaplain came out to talk to my daughter. The doctor told her if your mother hadn't of came in when she did ..... we wouldn't be having this conversation. You would be planning your mother's funeral today. God works in mysterious ways. I knew I was having a heart attack, because I remember my grandmother telling me about the symptoms she had when she had her heart attack and I never forget it. She basically saved my life. Unfortunately she's no longer with us. She went home to be with the Lord a few years ago. Anyway, sorry that was too long. I love ya'll podcast and Uncle Si keeps me laughing and when he's not I know he's not feeling well. I pray for Uncle Si. I pray God keeps him well. We love him and we don't want nothing to happen to him. At least just for a long time. God bless you all. 🕊✝️❤
