For anyone on an organ transplant list, please know many do have feelings of some guilt with thinking that someone had to die in order for them to be blessed as a match for one of the deceased’s organs. Please pray and hand that guilt over to the Lord and leave it at the feet of Jesus, allowing him to comfort you. God knows the expiration date of every human being, and there is no need in anyone having a sense of guilt; compassion for their loved ones, yes. As a retired kidney transplant RN, I witnessed this guilt often in my patients, sadly. God is always about life over death and being incredibly blessed to receive a needed organ, remember they volunteered to bless others in their untimely death. Try to celebrate this opportunity of being a match as a wonderful blessing in knowing this was God’s plan for you both! Wish you many blessings with a great match for a wonderful future!
