Godwin said not that long ago that he's doing well with his diabetes and that although he misses eating a lot of foods, he doesn't really crave them as he once did. He said that you just got to put your mind to it and it will be alright. Paula has found as well as makes, diabetes friendly desserts that he enjoys. Godwin did mention though that on mother's day, there was one dessert that he had for Paula that he loves and would have loved to have a piece.

I noticed that too. Everyone on this podcast has valuable input & I enjoy all of the rotating supporting players ~ all God-fearing, wonderful men. That said, the reason this podcast gained traction & such a following is largely due to the unpredictability of Uncle Si & his stories. Uncle Si is beloved; that's no threat to the rest of the cast. I'm going to WFR and Log town on July 2nd. I pray Phils preaching is directly from God and my alcoholic Muslim sons heart changes towards Christ. Martin Godwin Stone and John David keep that thing going if it was just Uncle Si it would have been off the air a long time ago. Don't get me wrong, I love Uncle Si, but he's out grown is britches.
