Stacie, I love your passon for what you do. That's the enthusiasm I still have when raising beagles. I raised beagles strictly for rabbit hunting purposes (not as pets, not as deer-hunting dogs) but strictly rabbit hunting. I did this for a tad over two decades. It was pricey and a lot of hard work but once you commit, you just follow through. Similar to your gardening. There are so many steps and layers in the process and each step is never the same each year/season but you learn as you go. No book can tell you all theses things. You learn as you go and learn from others who have gone before. Sometimes, based on your decisions, things can go terribly wrong while sometimes everything seems to go fruitfully right. In fact, sometimes it seems just perfectly fruitful. I never was an earth person meaning (I can trim vegetation but cultivating was just too blah to me and I'd get frustrated if I didn't see positive results-fast). Same as in life (not everything comes out smelling like roses...haha...kinda sounds like Forest Gump, doesn't it?🤣 Anyways, I enjoy your video shares. I guess that's why I have so many corny questions/comments, ha ha. Thanks for the fun videos. I'm looking forward to see how the ducks fair throughout their stay at Stacie & Steve's homestead 😁. @@ChickenHues I only have one remaining and he's around 12-ish years old. You asked if I showed them. They were in an older video about 6 years ago. I think that's what you meant by "Showed them". My AKC beagles were not "show-dogs" but they had great championship pedigrees. They came from excellent bloodlines. That's one of the main reasons I would not sell them. I had an interested party who wanted a purebred beagle to breed with a Pug. I refused to sell or give any of my AKC beagles to that lady just so she could ruin the bloodline to produce a mongrel. True beaglers will not taint the bloodline. Oops, gotta go; I'm running late for bible studies. Baah, for now. Don 7/16/23

Aww so nice. I've found chickens are the easiest pets I've kept. I've mostly kept birds all my life. And my dog has been the hardest. But she's a doberman so I've been told they are difficult. My garden has ended for the first season in FL. It's bug and disease season now in July and Aug. I need to rip everything out and let it lie fallow until late Sept wen the second season starts. I wish I could have a lush veggie garden like yours with a cute live in guest house in the middle. I've learned traditional veggies don't grow down here or at the right seasons.

It’s so interesting how different gardening is there. I remember you mentioning your dog - she sounds like she keeps you on your toes. 😂. That’s how our Lily always was until about 3 years ago. Whew.
