I love Dark Wing Duck so the cameos were cool and the set up for certain things did get me hyped for a possible reboot. However even I prefer the first "Dark Wing take over" and see how it could be annoying when viewed as an average episode.

@@Pandie2828 I know I’m late, but I want to make it clear that I don’t hate Darkwing as a character. He’ll get me to laugh sometimes (though more often than not it’s with gags at his expense), the conceit behind this show’s version is admittedly clever (and was properly foreshadowed by introducing Jim Starling before Drake Mallard was), and I remember enjoying what I saw of the old show (I bought the DVDs primarily because of DT17 though I didn’t really put much time into putting them on). It’s just that I didn’t like to be constantly reminded of Frank’s obsession with him, something which the show as a whole was not shy about displaying. Thus, Let’s Get Dangerous was quite a hard watch for me - again, Gosalyn aside. Hey, I’m not gonna clown on a character for being a cutie

It was originally planned to have four seasons, each focusing on one of the main kids. S1, we know, was Dewey, S2 was Louie, and S3 should have been Huey, which we do see in the earlier episodes, S4 would have been Webby, and presumably that's when the whole 'she's Scrooge's clone daughter' thing would have been revealed. But the show was cancelled after S3, so the writers had to stuff both the Huey and Webby stuff into that series, ultimately meaning neither characters was explored as much as they might have been and making the season as a whole feel rushed.

I also thought before Season 3 came out that there would be a fourth season and Webby would be the character of the season. I also thought season 3 would focus more on Huey like the first two seasons focused on his brothers Dewey and Louie. It started out with Huey focus at the beginning of the season but they stopped focusing on his m after Season 3 Episode 6 Astro Boyd.
