Duckweed skimming

Working to get rid of duckweed in our pond. We have used pool skimmers, rakes, and now trying to use a sump pump and a 5 gallon bucket to help remove duckweed and watermeal from the top of the pond.
We know we have to work on our biological load to reduce the debris - leaves, branches etc.
Next steps are gonna be to get an aerator and a phosphate binder .

Try an old bed sheet in the basket to filter both duckweed and watermeal. That stuff mixed with your old leaves or sawdust is great compost.

Nice!! I used some Furnace filter medium That worked pretty good- the issue juts keeps becoming the filter getting clogged fast! So .. the battle goes on
