We added 2 of those (one on each floor) to the old lodge building when we renovated and it works great. We went with a small compressor for each, so effectively 2 of what you have. Heat and AC in a building from 1852 without needing to run duct work. :) Glad to see you posting, Chuck! Hope you are well, sir. Tom Z

+Tom Zelickman (Inspiration Metalworks) Hey Tom! Yeah, these units are pretty convenient and easy to install! Plus, with the "zone type" temp control, you don't have to heat/cool the whole building, they are way more efficient than window models that can also invite criminals, and reduce you natural light. Allot of pluses... I'm hoping the new stuff I have is interesting and will make better video, and I also promise to stop over and see how your channel is going...I keep forgetting to set up email announcements for a bunch of the subscriptions I have, even if I'm busy I still like to see what folks are doing. See you over there, Aloha...Chuck

I'm hoping to get a couple of these in the house this year!! The shop will have one, too.

+bluehandsvideo They're epic, and really efficient too...I read that the SEER rating on this model is 15.5, and that's pretty good for a 2.5ton system, and with it right above my lathes I don't need to blast it to keep cool ;)

Aloha Chuck! I'm very interested in these units. Thanks for posting.

+Cruiser Mac I was originally just going to send it to Keith, but figured why not turn it loose? No frills, but at least my friends know I'm alive, LOL! Thanks for the welcome back, and now that I've actually learned a few things I'm going to make a couple worthwhile videos here soon. Guess that means I'll have to shave ;)

+TacticalKeychains Yeah you must have been up late messing with your pens? See you are developing lots of new stuff.

Awesome! Someone swiped that brass cutter I bought off you, are you still making those?

As long as it does not need Windows 10 as an OS ?

Cruiser Mac LOL!!! I really don't like Win 10 OS either, it's just not intuitive enough and also doesn't parlay with my monitor so I went back to Win 7 OS and all is sure and steady ;) Those TUKK's look excellent, and if I had a keychain I carried, or even left the farm for more than shopping I'd get one!

I need one of those for my shop. I hope to get one installed this year. I only have 500 sq feet to cool.

I wonder what Halligan142 - the community AC expert would've said about the installation, LOL ;) Great to see You up & running, Chuck! ;)

Hey you're alive. I'm going to be doing a bunch of work in the coming months before my next surgery in May. We should get together again. I'm in the middle of reviving a dead riding lawnmower right now and starting to do the body paint. I could use some advice on painting and company.

+Mike Dittman Hey Mike! I'm feeling better and so is Dad, so I'll give you a ring in the morning tomorrow. I've got an X-ray scheduled, but it's early enough that I could stop by on the way home. I'll talk to you then...Aloha, Chuck.

Hey Chuck, those are good. I've been too busy to watch youtube, but have a bit of time now, where are all your older vids? I only see this one posted.

+Steve S Hey Steve, thanks for checking me out...the other vids came down after I was hit with Ransomware and then our CC got stolen and my Pop wanted me to quit, and since he doesn't really understand the web it just makes him angry. I doubt that the 2 attacks likely weren't even connected, but out of respect for him I took a break and just took all of the videos down thinking I could re-upload them later...sadly, now I cannot seem to get them into the correct format for KZbin to accept. Oh well, I've got some interesting stuff coming up and now that we have better protection with VISA Dad said, "Why aren't you making videos anymore?", LOL!

+The Texas Gun Guy Will do my man, I'm going to be making a pair of larger micrometer dials for her and will have to video the disassembly for my own memory, and so I'll make a video series about it and how I'm going to scribe the lines and stamp the numbers...especially challenging for the cross-slide with 125 divisions! I'll be posting again more often too. It just feels good to say "Aloha" to everyone and now that I've got a few skills to share I think it may be more interesting...I hope. Aloha my Brother...Chuck

+Knolltop Farms The following is a face book post I made yesterday. Okay so cool I got my VFD on Thursday afternoon. Spent all night reading how to hook it up to a single stage, 3Ph, 240volt, 50amp motor with 3hot leads and a ground. There is only one problem, I have a 2 stage 6 lead motor. First stage is 860 rpm's the second stage is 1740rpm's. Well isn't that just special. Wired it up to the control panel on the lathe stared testing everything. Life was good, then I tried to switch it to high speed. The flames that shot out of the VFD must have been three feet high. The black marks on the ceiling rubbed off with just a wet rag. Yeah that's the end of that VFD. I've decided to just go back to bed, it's gonna be one of those days.

Aww, bummer Bro! I am so, so sorry to hear about that! I'll be extra careful not to lose anything when I'm hopefully improving Big Red. I'm glad you weren't hurt at least, even though I know that it's little solace, it is a little something to be grateful for...
@McFingal9 жыл бұрын
+Knolltop Farms It's all good, they are going to replace the VFD, I just have to wire it up the way they want me to not the way I want to. Lol. Do you need anything?
@KnolltopFarms9 жыл бұрын
Not that I can think of, but thanks so much for asking! You're going to love the way I'm going to attempt indexing and inscribing the dials...I'll show you tomorrow, and I'm glad you're getting another VFD, that is great customer service!

Hi mate. Those units are pretty good. The guy that installed that one should be shot however. I bet I will need my one today as it's going to be over 42 c for the rest of the week. I could use some Bintang beers.
