Love the veg plates! I’m happy with a dish of veg, potatoes and gravy, also with a little mint or apple sauce and Pearl barley, which I cook ahead and freeze in flat sheets ready to crumble into the gravy.

Hahah silly mistake of telling people more tolerant to hot, to make it hot...Brings back the memory of the proprietor of my local, tiny, mostly Indian variety, but also, Asian market, laughing at me when I said i like hot, but also said I thought the hot smoked paprika was hot, when he tells his Indian customers that it is mild.
