I think it’s good for YOU to get out routinely! Staying isolated, even by choice, isn’t the best for good brain health (seriously). As far as your video content, you do YOU! That’s what sets you apart from other content creators. You are authentic so guard that from others trying to get you to change how/what you record! Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday!

Honestly I love both your more-edited and less-edited videos formats. The Vlogmas edits have been great and I find myself actually nodding along and agreeing with you during the chats because they feel more like conversations than edited videos. Also Lol'ed when you held up the spoon this morning. She's moving up in the world! Thanks for another good one.

I watch your videos Chelsea, and in case hearing from someone that your videos aren’t what they used to be, upset you, I just wanted to say that they are precious no matter what. You are sharing your life with us, and making people that might feel lonely or stressed or just overwhelmed with life, less so 🩷 You are a human being and we can’t always be “ the same.” Life is hard; it weighs on us all, and shows up in different ways. I just thought you should know that “ all of you “ is appreciated, and it’s not dependent on the entertainment value of a video you make (; Have a great day! I look forward to your videos. 🥂

All very simple stuff, but cozy and interesting to the nosy individual.

@@thetiredworm2100 exactly. I mean I can see how some people see it as repetitive and I respect that, that's why I phrased it like that. Honestly your vlogmas is making each morning in December something to look forward to. It makes me feel like I'm being social on the days where I'm not leaving my house before having to go to work for the night. Keep creating your videos the way you want to. For every person that thinks your vlogs have changed I can assure you there are many of us who don't care. I watch your content for your personality and the realistic lifestyle content. Your vulnerability to put your life out there for complete strangers is admirable. We love ya!!!

I haven't seen a decline in quality at ALL. If anything, I think your videos are even more realistic than before, if that's even possible (because you've always been SO genuine), which to me is the highest quality that content can possibly be. At least for me, in my own personal taste, I tend to gravitate towards the more "raw" videos and creators, I'm much more relaxed and refreshed by that kind of content than I am the highly edited and produced stuff. I come to YT to watch creators that make viewers feel like we are in the room with them, because I like the feel of organic company. When I watch you, Chelsea, that's how it feels--we're all your friends and we're just chillin' with you. The recent vids you've put out have felt SO organic and natural, and it's been such a relief to my busy brain. I absolutely understand the market for, and the taste for more highly produced content, it's popular for a reason. But at least from this girl right here, you're singing to my soul with the feel of these vlogs.

I've been trying to find my Christmas spirit this year after losing my father in November, and WOW this was a shot in the arm! You are right - New York is beautiful this time of year! The massive crowds mean this is the closest I'm ever getting to it, so thank you for braving it and sharing it. It was oddly nostalgic for me. The funny thing is, your reactions are what really did it for me - yes, the lights are beautiful, but your wonder and joy really touched me. I got out the Christmas lights box so I can put them out tomorrow. I've been so tired and I've been busting my butt so I can take a couple of weeks off, but I've been watching your videos and enjoying things vicariously. Thank you so much.

I know I'm a couple days late. My dad passed 3 years ago today & Christmastime is when I miss him the most. When you showed the Christian Dior & Saks light show for the second time, Silent Night was playing & I just burst into tears. That was what we sang at the end of Christmas eve service as it hit midnight & was officially Christmas. We all held candles as the lights dimmed & lit each other's candles from theirs, from the front to the back, so we're all connected. I'm so alone & I want my dad back so badly it physically hurts. I watch all of vlogmas, but this will hold a special place for me. I thank you for all your efforts in putting these videos out each day. ❤🎄🍕🐀🐦🐈‍⬛

I had a crazy hectic week so I'm catching up on your last 3 videos, which is a fun way to wake up! I have to say, these videos where you walk around NYC, maybe because I haven't visited there yet, are my favorite. It's so cool to see the city from that perspective. Also, I've been working from home for around 3 years now, I have a "regular" job but it's structured more like your YT job, so I make my schedule and have a lot of flexibility. The longer you do it, the harder it gets to leave home and go out -- I often have big plans in the morning but if I wait until the afternoon or take too long getting ready, that impetus disappears and I just want to snuggle up at home. I have to make myself go out (for more than just errands) at least once a week or I might go days and days without stepping outside, which can really dampen your overall mood over time. So make sure you keep track!

The 5th Avenue displays are so festive! But the crowds! Yikes. One of my favorite memories from childhood is my dad taking all us kids to downtown Chicago to see all the Christmas window displays. What a wonderful video! Thank you for getting on the subway to film that for us. The Saks lights are so beautiful. I worked at Saks when I was younger. I work at another fancy, expensive store now selling perfume. People come in all the time to smell the testers and just be around the high-end things that some of us will never be able to afford. Sometimes it just brings up your mood to be around these things and enjoy a little luxury in life. Browsing and window shopping can be just as enjoyable as actually purchasing. I enjoy the apartment makeover videos , but New York is most beautiful at Christmas time so I’m loving these neighborhood tourist videos.

I am a very longtime subscriber and super quiet watcher (I'm not a big video-commenter-person) but as a person originally from NYC and in the same age bracket as you, I just wanted to say that your Vlogmas has been bringing me so much joy this season! I love your in the moment approach to things. A part of me never wants to see you restock your spoons, ever? Idk, haha. Honestly, I'm living in a couch nest going through recovery from some big, unexpected health stuff, and the fact that your video each day makes me smile as I begrudgingly do my physical therapy is a win. So, thank you, Chelsea, for sprinkling this season with a lil Christmas somthin' this curmudgeonly former new yorker

I have no idea how the algorithm brought me to your page, but I now rush my kids to bed to watch your videos. We have nothing in common which makes your content so refreshing. Thanks for being an awesome person who decided to pick up a camera.

Keeping the couch where it is rn seems like a good idea considering no windows in the other room - maybe you can turn it into a utility room/bookshelf area. Like make it resourceful with the washing machine and other appliances out there but also add some personality to it by having a bookshelf/hangings on the wall/dresser with cute stuff on it too so it feels welcoming as you enter your home. And maybe for your couch you can get those rolling around foldable tables so you have a "work space" and keep it away once you're done with editing etc, I think it'll help with creating that work-life boundary as well!

Love the video! New York at Christmas is not to be missed! My husband and I brought our daughter and her 2 daughters last year. We only had 2 full days-but it was unforgettable. Took them to see The Rockettes, had lunch at the American Girl cafe…priceless! Thank you for the lovely video reminding me of my favorite place at Christmas time! ❤🎄

Vlogmas isn't supposed to be your usual content! Once of the reasons I love watching vlogmas is because i can see a different side of youtubers. A little more authentic and i love it!! Your doing great!

Do remember that you can’t please everyone, no matter what your vlogs are- someone will complain. It’s human nature. You just do your best, and what makes you happy.

As a fellow NYer (Long Island) who used to love going into the city, the way you worked your editing towards the end… 👏👏👏 bravo. Thanks for making it magical again. By the way, I’m loving your vlogmas. I do hope you will continue to vlog more often than normal once it’s done. PS. I agree with @nixwatchinthetube. 🤗🤗

What makes your vlogs great is you. Also I have to say watching you put your couch together I had a freak out with you and for you. Also when you used the broom or maybe it was swifter to hang curtains was incredibly genius. I would have never thought of that. Your the best!😊🌸

Loved coming along for your holiday stroll around the city. So glad you showed a snippet of St Patrick’s Cathedral. It is the most stunning building I’ve ever been in. I am not religious, so I was not expecting to react to it the way that I did, but there is something so, so magical and emotional about it. I think many people often pass it by without going in, but it is worth the stop. 🖤🖤🖤

What ? Pausing vid. ALL your vids are high quality, Miss Chelsea ! Full on editing is great & you are a talented videographer. But that’s not what makes your channel - or any channel. I am loving this at - home, domestic vibe. Yay for life’s simple pleasures! I find getting projects done and tending to self care to be so satisfying & meaningful. Fill your cup so you have more to give! That’s what it’s about! I love your new apt & all the changes you are making. Even better , YOUR transformation that is making it all happen. I’ll miss these cozy daily vids after Vlogmas is over ! ❤️🎄

Please do not give any credence to comments about quality dropping. You're posting every day! Do people expect you to be super human? Insane! I am loving the videos. I thought yesterday's was so relatable. I was sitting on my couch sipping my tea and you were sitting there drinking yours and it strangely felt like I was sitting with a friend. I'm the same age as you and lived in the city at one point, so I feel like we could've been friends if our paths had crossed. So it's just cool that youtube can create that experience virtually! Regardless, you're doing great, vlogmas is wonderful and please keep prioritizing your wellbeing!

Wow, What a beautiful walk in NYC! Good on you, I know how it feels to not want to go out. But you did, and I live far away, I would probably never be able to do this. So now I feel like I have been there! How beautiful everything looks, all so nicely lit and decorated. Just WOW. I am inspired watching you. You are the age of my oldest child. And I feel like you are climbing over hurdles and challenging yourself, and giving yourself grace to accept if something is not perfect. You are appreciating everything that YOU are making happen. FANTASTIC!!!
