Also, it’s not like something has to be everything wrong for it to be considered wrong. It’s just extremely overdone and verbose word salad at this point. I believe it’s less of calling someone bigoted, and more like the higher up executives didn’t care about anything about money, the top director or head of the project only cared about doing what they wanted to do/pleasing a certain audience, and everyone else went along with it because it was their job/if they spoke up, they would be ignored. Like, with most projects headed by a corporation, there are people at the top who don’t care about the project itself, the heads of the project who are only focused on their own vision, and most anyone else who is too afraid to speak up in fear of losing their jobs/being ignored because they have no power in the company. To be charitable, it's possible that they were going for a very specific sort of character take here - like, this character is a bit of a slacker weirdo; he mumbles, he rambles, he's kind of in his own little world a lot. I can get that. But for cryin' out loud, would it have killed them to A: toned it back a touch, and B: turned up the volume on his dialogue? I have to strain to hear this guy, and that automatically renders him like 50% more annoying.

How to fix this: 1- get an actual voice actor. 2- change the whole dialog about the namesake to something that makes sense lile how he did a mistake in potion class and covered everyone (or hinself) in slime or smt and don't have him just accept that nickname for no reason either. Especially when meeting new people, he should introduce his real name first prompting the other characters to ask why people call him slime boy.
