When i redone my 79 coupe i never done anything special . It seemed to work with the ole 4cyl suspension But my control arms had seen better days .. way better days .. like 30 years ago .. so i just bought some non adjustable upr control arms … the bad is i havent had it out of the garage in over 2 years . I really beed to stop doing everything else n get it done while im above ground !!!

Had same problems, went back to factory maf and a tune via quarter horse also found a new old stock idle air control. The aftermarket ones are junk went through 3 different ones, laptop confirmed the voltage would max out at low rpms

As you already know with the 65, as these old cars like Foxbody's were not built for that kind of horsepower so that unibody type underbody to get tweaked and get out of shape. Great job by Berger to work through it. His car has come along way.

I hate suspension work, but I sure do love a suspension setup that works good. If I build another fox I’m going to start fresh with the team z setup where you basically gut the ass end. I should have done that on the last one.

I installed the BMR setup on my car. Those upper control arms with no give at all prob makes the install much more difficult. I installed them a while ago but believe I disconnected the upper from the axle to make it easier.

Hey bro, I have a problem, I was leaking antifreeze at the beginning of summer, it wasn't a heavy leak and I couldn't find it. Well I put straight water in it, and never put antifreeze in it. I had to send the intake into Holley to replace the ECU. So what I'm saying is the car isn't running and it's about to get down to freezing temperatures. I know I waited to the last minute but I did pull the hoses from the front of the motor, but I know there's still water in the block. I did crank it over but I'm sure that didn't push all the water out. I heard and did some research that there are to big Allen head bolts on each side of the motor. Are those the only way to save this block from being destroyed?

Great job, guys. I really enjoy the content. I do need some help from the fox community. I installed 24# injectors with matching pro m maf. I've done the base idle reset the 2,2,2 minute procedure. But the car still doesn't idle, right. This can't be normal. HELP!! HELP!! HELP!! The computer was rebuilt at the beginning of this year, and the car never ran as good as it does. But like all car guys, I decided to do this upgrade. It already has E303 cam gt40p heads explorer intake aftermarket exhaust. And I just was gifted a set of trick flow heads soon to replace the gt40p heads. Is it normal to need a tune just with 24# injectors?

Car was running great until I took stock 19# injectors and maf off. And upgraded to the 24# with matching maf getting the car ready for my trickflow heads I'm putting on soon. I didn't think doing that would cause idle problems.
