This project took us a while to complete! The latter part of nearly 4 years. Brandon Williams, an employee of LMR, just so happen to stumble across a black 2.3L 4-cylinder Fox Mustang at his friend's salvage yard. Talk about right place, right time! The car was just days away from being crushed. Over the past few years, we (LMR) helped Brandon get this car back to driver quality. The focus was to spend our time, not our money. I know what you're thinking; time is money. Well, in this sense it's a little different. We wanted to "hustle" this one with our sweat equity because there are those of us out there that may not be in a position to spend a whole bunch of money. Enjoy the video! -Landan

Outstanding job guys! Looks like a brand new Mustang again, it’s actually a treat to see a four-cylinder car because they’re so few of them left these days. I love it just the way it is, maybe throw a clearcoat on it and give the car a good cleanup under the hood. I did essentially the same operation on a 1991 Ford Escort Lx (A 6 year long project) except I also swapped in my old 91 Escort Gt engine and 5 speed, also had that car stripped down to a bare, empty shell as I wanted to deep clean everything, including under the dash and inside the HVAC box. Lots and lots and lots of cleaning, I also completely refurbished the entire main harness, adding features/circuits and improving the ground system by adding redundant ground pigtails, as well as utilizing unused lights in the dash to monitor existing systems as well as the hatchback ajar switch that never seemed to be used but only used on the wagon models. I also added a two speed cooling fan system, where a normal low single speed system was used for improved cooling ‘overhead’ in case I need it but probably won’t unless something goes wrong. Lol I also have a 1991 Mustang that I’ve swapped a 2.3 turbo into about 15 years ago and I’ve been daily driving it for many years, have a huge collection of various interior and exterior parts, weatherstripping, window run channels, and moldings stashed away at home that I plan to put on in the near future, essentially doing exactly what you did to your Mustang. I also agree on using 303 aerospace protectant on plastic and rubber parts including tires. That stuff always works amazing, doesn’t add unnecessary gloss and is actually beneficial to the material as well as not attracting dust like most protectants do.

Love it. Especially the cleaning! I recently got my second C2 Vette. 28k miles and it was super-clean, except under the two motor covers. I am really thinking of getting a Foxbody Mustang in the future and putting a 347 in it from BlueprintEngines. I am just outside Dallas so it is not too far from you guys.
