Acting was spot on. Especially Penn's vrooming in his car. Hahaha! When he discovers it's Patricia giving out notices and she says "I'm just a small town girl", am I the only one who sang out loud "LIVING IN A LONELY WORLD!!"?

So many hilarious details! The husky gag, dad's plastic suit, lawn mower in disguise, dog pinning down masked girl is clearly calm and happy (but with vicious barking voice over), moustache coming off dad's face in race scene and total disregard for dad drowning 😅 I have never watched a Hallmark Christmas movie (the benefits of living in Australia perhaps 😅) but I just loved this ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Plot twist and more Halllmark realistic: Douglas upon witnessing Plastic go through the ice rushes to save him. Douglas save Plastic and Plastic decides to stop the town eviction. I liked your take on watching him drown though, although they would never write that into a Hallmark movie. I also loved your large Menorah shot at the outdoor skating rink. Hollywood producers love to toss those into Christmas movies austentatiously. The subtle satire-Bravo!

Haha, my grandma was living with my parents before she died. My dad ended up having a stroke and had to stay come and recover. All my grandma watched was the hallmark channel and it drove him insane! He used to yell from another room, did they get married yet. Which then drove my grandma crazy. 🤣
