Wifey and I decided to jump on high limit blackjack at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa! The good people there gave us a private salon and we had a great time.
WE bought in for $4,100 and we had a legendary double down that led to an epic run with some big chips and color ups!

Typically, they don't have a set amount that you need to bankroll in with but they are typically higher table minimums. For example - this one was $100 a hand minimum. Right by the noodle bar they have their private area - take a look when you go.

Congratulations on the big win, and thank you for showing PROPER blackjack (3:2, S17, etc.) - the more gambling channels that only play good games, the more it will be normalized that that's what everyone expects. That said, the strategy errors: 1:28 - while not directly on most basic strategy charts, a 16 comprised of 3 or more cards, at least one of which is a 4 or 5, is a stand. It's a razor-thin difference, but it would have benefitted you here. The hit/stand decision is so close even one additional 4 or 5 out of the deck is enough to sway the correct choice by the math. 3:30 - 3,3 vs. dealer 2 is a split in proper games where you're allowed to double after splitting. While you still won, the way the cards came out after the fact you would have still won, with two extra bets on the table (the split and the subsequent double.) 4:19 - 15 vs 10 is a Surrender, and I know you have the option as you're in High Limit at the Hard Rock, and others who have streamed from there have done so. It's a struggle for many to find a table with such good rules, please take advantage of them when they favor you! 5:05 - same missed surrender. For the positives and miscallaneous: 7:27 - While it didn't change the outcome of this particular hand, the importance of the dealer not being allowed to try and improve their hand on soft 17 shows. 13:17 - ...and again here. Still didn't change the outcome of this particular hand but why allow them to have the chance? 14:10 - the 6-7-8 is one of the preimum pays under a side bet called either "Lucky Lucky" or "Fortune Blackjack" - 30:1 unsuited, 100:1 suited. That said, still a great session, but I believe it added up to $750 lost from the miscues.

Definitely agree on the 3,3 split vs. the Dealer 2. Should have done it but I was distracted and misplayed. I'm not a surrender type player. I understand some of the basic rules charts have that as a play during certain hands but it's not something I'm a fan of doing. Good shoe overall.

Always have since the opening 2 decades ago. Any legit gambler who is actually looking to profit from gambling, ( which is the entire point, ) would never tip on bets or after a win. They’d wait till the end and see what the outcome is first. Plain and simple. Doing so is immediate dead money and just downright not smart.
