Nothing better than watching two good players going at it in SFIII. SFIII is a real "masters" fighting game.

Necro, Ibuki, Makoto, Q, Elaine, Oro, Chun, Dudley, Remy, and Alex can all be juggled/relaunched in the air six times with crouching roundhouse or alternating crouching roundhouse and jab machine gun blow (ex machine gun blow counts as a one launch). However, if you relaunch those characters on the sixth time, you won't be able to combo finish afterwards. So the thing to do is launch them five times and then combo finish.

@meirus I'm sure its a little of both actually. I feel one's character has a lot to do with their fighting style. Yun and Yang are a great example, where Yun's personality "outgoing and impulsive" and Yang's personality is "quiet and calm". I'm sure you can figure the rest easily as to how that ties in with their fighting style.

@IAmKingHomey Unfortunately, there's no living clips of that. It's just the canonical storyline that I've read. I'd love to watch it too though.

You throw by pressing light punch (jab) and light kick (short) at the same time. Its good for opponents who are trying to parry/block your attacks
@IAmKingHomey12 жыл бұрын
@Gigameth89 did you read that somewhere or is there actually a clip of the two fighting ? im just asking cause it sounds like a blast to watch

@meirus That's true, but if you fight based on your fighting style, you pretty much want to fight to whatever your rules actually are. For example, Cody throws rocks and uses pipes and knives. However, he keeps his cuffs on. May be cheap for a real fight but its his style from prison. Eagle used sticks. Haomaru used katanas. Etc.

@meirus What? Then what about Balrog? Dude uses gloves but not because he's a gentleman. Then again, Mike from SF1 didn't use gloves at all. I'm sure there's a definite answer as to why they wear it, but I'm not quite able to put the words together. I'll let you know if I do.

@moonlitearthx14 Canonically, Oro is the most powerful fighter in the SF universe. Even with one arm tied behind his back he was more than a match for Gouki. That fight was undecided because Oro actually left the fight, after getting bored. Oro is the last of the Sennin, a clan of people from Japan who master a secret martial art called Senjutsu and with both arms out, he is more powerful than half of the SF cast rolled into one. Even Shin Gouki would be no match for Oro with both arms.

I'm guessing you're referring to 10:26. Any average Dudley player should be able to accomplish this combo easily when they're at the corner. However, this doesn't work on all characters. Chun-Li's hitbox is a larger than other characters, so Dudley's crouching hard kick can juggle her 4 times, even 5. Dudley won't be able to juggle Akuma, Hugo, Ken, Ryu, Sean, Twelve, Urien, Yang, and Yun with crouching hard kick. All of the other characters can be juggled, some more times than others.

Street Fighter is a lot stronger when there are no fireballs involved.
@surewin177312 жыл бұрын
It's really not that hard. However you have to time the short swing blow a little later or else the corkscrew will whiff.

@keikun332 They dominate because Yun has the most powerful and fastest building super and chun has god tier priority with regular moves. Many of chun's special and EX moves are completely useless. And yet, she dominates solely because of bad programming (unless you agree back and fierce punch should have as much priority as a dragon punch :P). Point is, regular fireballs in the game are pretty bad to an almost unusable capacity that I don't think even the programmers had in mind.

Ryu isnt the strongest fighter in any street fighter game. The only exception to that is street fighter 4 where he is considered to be one of the best. This assumes that you are talking about playing the game and not about the anime/movies/story/books or something else.

The Dudley player's nickname is straight up "black guy*?" That's crazy. *kokujin = black person

Ryu isnt top tier in any SF game with SFIV as the only exception. Ryu doesnt suck but hes not the strongest either.
@keikun33214 жыл бұрын
street fighter is a lot stronger without whiners talking about fireballs ruining the game. learn to beat it. yun has no fire ball. chun barely has a fireball. yet they dominate. come on now
