Wait let me get this straight duel masters fan consider Kaijudo a cheap knock off rip off of the original duel masters, but this doesn’t apply to do a masters and magic the gathering. i’m not saying Kaijudo Is good or bad in terms of card games I’m just saying the community criticism seems inconsistent

@@empireyouth5791 In my own opinion (I can't speak for the entire DM community), Kaijudo is just Duel Masters with some small differences, a second attempt and rebranding to make it successful but it failed even harder than the first Duel Masters did. I don't really like to use words like "rip off" and such that often since everything is pretty much inspired by something else in some way. We live in a world of refinement, not invention.

Yeah I got really bumed when I watched Charged sad ending. I found out some of the sequal series but it was hard to figure out if they were reboots or future seasons. There was one where it was like an alternative time line where Shobu lost to Hakuoh in thier first big match. And then I read some wikis about others where Shobou is grown up. Just cracy show. I laugh at the parody level dub we got and I really liked the card game. It was simple, now I know it´s super complexed just like Yugioh got but oh well.

It could get really aweful with how jokey it was, like the edits, I have only seen a couple of Japanese original versions of the episodes and they are still going for more humor but also more the typical ones that would have been censored or changed like 4Kids.

This sounds different from what i remember i remember there being an arc where his dad's card pyrofighter magnus comes to shobu and some interdimensional shenanigans happen iirc they said there was some big 5 powerful cards or something i remember shobu's was bolmetius steel dragon, there was a light one called kuukai or something and the nature civilization one was Dawn Giant, but nothing about the story or anything else Was that the abridged season 2 or am i hallucinating?

Pretty f2p no english tho, Pc version allows you to play english through a 3rd party app new set comes out in 2 weeks, The game should most likely be new territory for you if your a tcg player a lot of new stuff
