@@Convoy7560 eso se debe a que en cada una de esa cajas hay short prints no importa que tanto baje el precio si las cartas escasea van a seguir cara debido a que hay pocas en el mercado si no me equivoco bingo machine go go en el de kaiba, harpie perfume y el que invoca a los trenes en el de mai , la fusion nueva de pegasus todas esas son shorts prints de hecho la fusion nueva y el que busca la magia evil son shorts prints... pero en este caso creo que una es mas que suficiente y algo me dice que la maga que cae especialmente al enviar un spellcaster y quien sabel cual otra en el de yugi seran shorts prints

I just want to point out how little mask change contributed to these replays. Dark Law was summoned at 4:40 just to get 700 damage in. You also had a shadow mist into dark law play ready against the gren maju player before he super polyed you. However, besides that, Dark Law and Mask change did literally nothing in all of these replays. Right now, 4 extra deck slots are going to mask change targets, and some even play masked hero blast so they can dodge infinite impermanence, effect veiler, widow anchor, etc effect negation targeting Stratos and bounce another backrow card too. It seems like HEROs have a lot of good main deck cards at this point but don't have the extra deck to take advantage of it. The problem is that HEROs best two cards: fusion destiny and vision HERO faris lock you into dark heroes and heroes respectively for the rest of the turn, and their best link monster cross crusader can't use its effects if you summon any non-heroes that turn, so HEROs can't make use of any of the strong generic link monsters in the game right now like knightmares, borrel dragons, apollousa, orcust cards, etc. This means a lot of the extra deck ends up being masked heros that aren't doing much. Dark Law is best going first, but playing going first HEROs with the intention of setting up something like Plasma + Dark Law + Dystopia is just asking to be smacked by Nibiru or super polyed hard since everything is dark. HEROs basically need a bunch of new extra deck monsters to get a new game plan. Malicious Bane is a great new step in that direction thankfully. On that note though, wonder driver is another extra deck card that wasn't summoned a single time in these replays, further cementing my claim that HEROs don't have the extra deck they deserve.

thanderhop but why is that so? Is it because effect veiler/impermanence target must be a face-up monster monster controlled by your opponent? And stratos would no longer be on the field if it is used for mask change? Also, stratos effect would still be able to resolve from the GY?

Another way you can do this is if you have Increase placed in the spell and trap zone, you can respond to targeting effect negation by tributing the hero they targeted for increases's effect. Then chain link 3 is increase special summoning vyon, chain link 2 is their effect negation whose target is gone now so the card resolves with no effect, and chain link 1 is the stratos effect or whatever you tributed dodging the effect negation. Stratos never says it has to be face up on the field or whatever to resolve the effect. An old school example of this would be normal summon stratos, chain enemy controller tributing stratos, chain link 2 you steal a monster and chain link 1 stratos still searches. Also, a common theme in yugioh rules is that cards are not "the same card" (or the same instantiation of the card if you want to think of it that way) when they leave the field. So stratos being negated by infinite impermanence isn't the same stratos once its in the graveyard due to mask change or increase.

ExiledDarkness Most decks don't run a fiend. HEROs have very tight extra deck space anyways. Also, you rarely have a fiend on your field until the end of the combo if you wanna use Super Poly.

Es porque la versión evil está más que nada hecha para ir segundo y hacer otk, si le dejan un campo muy fuerte no podrá hacer mucho, además les sirve para la invocion del evil héroe gaia.

Ningún deck necesita a Nibiru, es una hand trap que solo sirve contra decks combo, pero en Hero va muy bien porque puede ser usado como material para Gaia
