I woke up this morning a few hours ago feeling terribly depressed. Been a rough two years. I have less mobility than ever before, deconditioned limbs and severe spinal nerve damage. Yes it gets me down, of course it does, I don't think I'd be normal if it didn't but just now, watching this pair of superbly talented people, who I must admit that I didn't know, gave me hope for a good day. I've always been a sucker for Duelling Banjos, yep, I saw Deliverance when it came out. Anyhoo, just wanted to let you know that you helped me this morning. Oh and greetings from London, England.

Thank you to all who have watched and enjoyed our rendition of dueling banjos! We have fun performing on stage and definitely do not take ourselves too seriously haha! We have taken parts of several different renditions of this song and even added a few of our own. We realize it is not how most people have heard it with a guitar and banjo, but instead with two banjos. We have several banjo players in our family, so we figured why not take it way back and follow the example of the original way it was played😊

I worked for a while, off and on, for a good friend who owns a staging and light scaffolding company and heard a lot of great music up close, even from underneath... I followed a young fellow employee into sales with a company that made consumer audio, and shortly after into a temporary job (that became much more) selling higher end audio gear, and in my first day met another stereo salesman as he was picking guitar in the store. He really piqued my interest in Bluegrass .... It was some months before another older salesman would tell me more about him. Sadly, I just found out he had passed in 2018... His name was Steve Mandell, we worked off and on together for sometime. He was unassuming in his talent and only spoke of his past if you asked a question about it. But he it was a joy to hear him play. R. I. P.
