I simply don't understand, back when MD had just came out everyone agreed with Dkayed's idea to ban Maxx C and replace it with a handtrap that does the same but can't be activated if you control cards, because as we all know trying to break a board while under the C is the worst, since it basically means that the match will end on turn 3 guaranteed if the player going 2nd doesn't OTK, eliminating the posibility of grind games. Now that they actually made that idea into a card for some reason we aren't even sure if Konami will actually ban the C but what's even more crazy is that there are people defending Maxx C and Fuwaross existing at the same time because hating on the TCG is the hip thing to do now I guess, and I say this as someone who never played TCG, I got into YGO through MD. I played with Maxx C legal for almost 3 years now and I agree that Fuwaross won't even be that strong if Maxx C stays, but I'm not sure I want to keep playing now because 1) this whole situation is just annoying to see considering that the answer to this problem is so obvious, one goes and the other stays, so who is to say we won't have more bizzare banlist situations like this when the entire community turns into a civil war, Konami's logic really is incomprehensible sometimes and 2) the immense dissapointment now after being so happy when the Mulcharmy and Dominus cards were announced, thinking the current handtraps were going to be replaced with more balanced versions and the direction of the game was finally changing.

Keep in mind Reincarnation also makes it much easier to get use out of the Herald balls, since you can just summon back a Lycoris you had to discard or something. And if you're playing the new Marincess one at multiples, its effects are once per duel so you might as well be chucking those to herald balls anyway.

Hornet Drones is one card combo for Orcust. 1- Use Hornet Drones 2- Summon Kagari 3- Add back Hornet Drones 4 - Activate again 5 - Link 2 Knightmare Pheonix using token and Kagari 6 - Summon Knightmare Mermaid 7 - Be happy (without normal summon) Also works for Silhoutte Rabbit (using linkuriboh).

You don't even need to make Linkuriboh since the Knightmare requirement is "two monsters with different names", though it's useful to have if you're running Brass Bombard to tribute off with it I guess. Also with multiple Hornet Drones, you can just add back the Engage to grab another drones to both deck thin and get more spells in GY. This is especially useful if you're on the newer Striker Links that banish Spells for their effects, Azalea Temperance can remove monsters without triggering their floats by equipping them, and the Link-4 can act as a negate against disruption attempts that gets rid of another card on the field.

@@koyacarl03 Your usual Normal Summon starters for extra dumps are fine, but keep in mind you're still not dark locked until you activate an Orcust from GY, so you can even use things like Reinoheart/Supreme Sea Mare for a Kitkallos/Rulkallos play or to make Mudragon calling Dark for Targeting protection. And if the Drones opening gets interrupted, you still have your Normal Summon as the backup option for it.

Opening up two Fuwalos and a Maxx "C" is a stupid thing to be concerned about. Opening up any three hand traps usually has the same impact on the turn player's turn anyway. The bad thing about these is that they increase the consistency at which you have a Maxx "C" in your hand, and a single Maxx "C"/Fuwalos is worth more than any other hand trap.

Fuwalos by itself practically fixes going second. It's a hard twice per turn. So if you hard draw 2 and pitch both and it resolves. You draw 2 cards per deck and ed summon. Same logic with purulia or mixing them

Luckily, my deck main 3 droll plus small world that can search droll, and consistency use them to stop maxx c cuz the deck already search enough gas before that droll. They will just go from maxx c, fuwalos whatever into starter-size hand. It will be my deck's times! :))
