He explained plenty of things ... this was an interview scheduled for twenty minutes that went for forty minutes because it was fun and he was up for it. He also let me interview him two more times the next year, and it was even more chill: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6Gbp5avZpJ9ntU I know you're used to a different style of interview, but these guys get asked the same questions over and over again so a different style is appreciated, even if I spoke too much. I love Duff. Kinda like James Hetfied, i just have more & more respect for them... how, as they've aged, they've matured & become wiser in a very rock & roll way. They, remarkably, seem fairly humble and self-aware. And they seem grateful & appreciative of life, in general, and specifically of the lives they've gotten to live. Also, as a recovering junkie myself, getting to look at Duff's life arc, its inspiring to see how he was able to courageously weather the storm, come out the other side, and live a new type of life that's still full of excitement & passion, just without the substances. It's inspiring. Thanks for being somewhat of a role model, Duff, for someone that wants to stay clean & sober but doesn't want to be a lame-ass living a boring, dull life.

Duff wearing a Claddagh ring instead of the boring plain wedding band, if you're Irish (even if ur not) you should wear it ,the hands represent forever friendship , the hands hold the heart which represent everlasting love &the crown sitting on top represents unwavering loyalty to your partner. They're given (traditionally)as a "I'm in a relationship"promise ring, then as your engagement ring then ur wedding ring, to me they're the most symbolic piece of jewellery u can give someone or receive .I hv a 22ct yellow gold one with a diamond set in the centre of the heart ,so beautiful so thoughtful. U don't hv to be in a relationship to wear 1 ,they're timeless. I don't think there's a more beautiful piece of jewellery out there (I mean of known styles not one off pieces obviously)thank you to my honey fr mine, bought in Claddagh in Galway brought bck to Dublin fr me, go get ur selves 1 fr that special someone or just fr u. They've been given in Ireland fr centuries. Love Celtic design ,love my Ireland ,love my man💘💍🍀🔐

Yeah, blame drugs for everything. Without it we wouldn’t have half the kickass music we’ve had. Sad but true. Very few bands peak creatively without plunging the depths of despair through excessive lifestyle choices. It’s the old “double edged sword” thingy. There’s a handful of bands that have made it big totally sober. Rush is one of those bands. Not too many though. It is was it is. Scott’s not the first, nor will he be the last. It’s just Rock n Roll. You can say “that’s stupid” all you want. Denial is easy. The “Truth”, well..... that’s a whole lotta hard. RIP Scott

I am really getting sick of this ridiculous assertion. I'd slept about ten hours in a week on a giant festival tour with 70 bands and an expectation to produce an immense amount of video content where I was in every shoot and every edit. I'd had about a billion cups of coffee and was pretty wired on that at this point ... but I don't do drugs and just being pretty animated isn't actually an indication of being some degenerate wasted at work.
