The tempature of the snow being warmer while snowing ia based on the calorimetry law of conservation of energy and assumes that the heat lost by an object(s) at the higher temperature equals the heat gained by the object(s) at the lower temperature, i.e., heat lost + heat gained = 0 or heat gained = - heat lost. hope Zein understands my explanation in this regard.
