Duke Cannon Soap Review - Number 1

I am a Vet too and love that they support so many Veteran Organizations . My favorites so far are the Midnight Swim and Fresh Cut Pine . I made a 2nd video with 5 other bars . I didn't like them as much as these though .

I'm a fan of Duke Cannon products. My favorite soaps are Budweiser and Old Milwaukee. I also like the deodorants and solid colognes.

I have to try more of their products . I use a natural deodorant now , Tom's . Since I am now a Brand Ambassador for them , I will get some discounts and maybe some free stuff .

@@TipsFromABellman can you describe tue midnight swim? Is their pine tar as good as dr. Squatch’s? Great fragrance but lasted about 6 showers. Mind tagging me in the other DC vids?

@@rossydv Midnight Swim reminds me of Coast Soap that was popular in the 80's , but it lasts much longer. It's a fresh scent , I guess like an ocean scent would be the best I could describe it. Fresh Cut Pine smells just like Dr Squatch Pine Tar except you don't have all the mess. I've been meaning to do a video of their soaps since I tried like 7 or so of them. Dr Sqatch Pine Tar you would have to rinse the whole shower to make sure it didn't leave any color all over the place , Duke Cannon doesn't do this. I will tag you on the other video.

Actually if you watched past the 6 minute mark when I actually tried some of them , I tell you of each scent . 1. Buffalo Trace - Oak barrel smell , 2. Midnight Swim - Just like Coast soap , clean and water misty smell , 3. Fresh Cut Pine - Pine tree smell , but not like Pine Sol cleaner , nice , 4. Campfire - Perfume smell not really for me , not bad though , 5. Leaf and Leather - smells like saddle soap for your baseball glove or boots . Thanks for watching . Midnight Swim and Fresh Cut Pine are my favorites. I haven't tried the new ones , Wayfinder , Superior , High Country , Trophy Game or Sawtooth. None of the beer ones either. I've tried like 10 or 12 so far.

Glad the goatee and head hair are still there Bellman. Last time we "spoke" you feared you would have to cut when you got back to work. Have they let you keep your very neat look or are you still not back at work? Anyhow glad you have kept your style.

I can still keep my goatee , but it has to be trimmed short . A lot of the guys I work with have a goatee now and a couple have beards . Unfortunately of course , I had to cut the back of my hair . It's back to collar length , but same style .

Are these soaps gritty like Dr.Squach?

No they don't have a grit to them , but they are pretty solid soaps . I also buy Hagwood Soaps and they have a Grit and Non Grit versions of their soaps if you are looking for a Grit Soap . Hagwood smells really really good and the Non Grit is so creamy and lasts a long time . Great review, how long would you say 1 bar lasts you? A month of everyday use?

I should track how long a bar actually last . I would say a month or so . Some last longer than others and some are messier than others leaving like more soap scum in the shower . The worst so far for doing that was Naval Diplomacy . I thought it would be like Midnight Swim which is my favorite , but I will never get Naval Diplomacy again , yuck . Also Productivity Wins The Day I am using now and don't care for . It smells like Wrigley Spearmint Gum and is gritty , but so far it's the least one to melt . It will probably last 2 months the way it's going .

I've bought ever soap they make and the Pine tar is the only one worth anything. The rest smell like something an old man wears! The colongne sample I received is horrible! I asked 14 people if they liked it all thought it was trash. That is where it ended up. Carry on!

Fresh Cut Pine and Midnight Swim are my 2 favorite so far , I have tried 8 different ones . I've never smelled their colognes .

@@TipsFromABellman Yeah I realize scents are subjective. My friend loved the Midnight swim! I thought it was not bad, but not great. To each his own. The scents of Duke Cannon seem to be geared toward older men. I could be wrong. Carry on! Jasonbear
