Rip Julio, thank you for the memories. Allowing me to play with the lowrider car models at the store. Hooking it up with a box of lemon heads as a little kid. Thank you Fernando for our last conversation Rip. My Tios are Hector and Pico they use to live across the street. My Grandpa had the towtruck his name was Cuco. Much Love to the Ruelas Family.

Here is an example of a possible comment in English for a KZbin video with the title Duke's Car Club Short Documentary {BUG'SPHOTOS}: Loved this short documentary about Duke's car club! The footage was amazing and it was great to see the passion and dedication of the members. Can't wait to see more from BUG'SPHOTOS!

My Memories of Dukes: Back in 1974 I worked at Utility Trailers on 41 & Alameda where I met Oscar and Fernando. I drove around in my Old '39 that Fernando lovingly (not) called 'The Rust Bucket'. Fernando and I became friends and I would go to his house at the corner on LB Blvd and 41st after work and he woulkd let me help work on his cars. I learned the fine art of sanding blocking and lots of Body work tips I later used on my own cars. So after work we would also go to Julios market where we would have a few cold ones. They had a Doberman called RED who would just sit there and stare at me. Julio, Fernando and Oscar would have lots of stories to tell about their Uncle and how they started working on cars. Their Family was originally from TJ and so was I so we clicked well. Anyway, Utility Trilers went on strike and I moved on and lost touch with the Ruelas Brothers. I have another '39, but its no Rust Bucket. RIP my good friend Fernando.

*Eastside Low Bottoms sh*t !* _Tappin' in from South Central LA_ Salute to the Dukes CC from: *Eastside Low Bottomz CC* I pass by the shop all the time. I was born and bred in the area; Alameda Swapmeet, the train tracks before they built the Metro Blue Line, Original Taco Mama's on 41st and Compton, the original Gumbo Market, Johnsons liquor store, Darby's, Weavers Market, the Owl Cafe, Cheap Charlie's, the pool hall, Ascot Elementary, Jefferson High, the fruit stand on Vernon and Compton, Fred Roberts Park, swimming at Ross Snyder Park as a kid in the early 80's when you could get in for 35 cents or with the coupon on the back of a Koolaid packet. Oh yea, I'm from the turf FOR REAL ! ✊🏾
