One of the most beautiful renditions of Wichita Lineman I've ever heard. Reminded me of my love for Glen Campbell in my early days.

however i find it annoying that its b& w. like video b& w. you know they had mad budget to at least do film (i.e.tourfilm) but hey.

Monster is a great record!Back then people or should I say 'critics' were not ready dor this kind of sound from them.But every track is great,had this album been realesed in 2017 it would be a critical darling.

Thank you Frank for showing us this great documentary of R.E.M. I saw them in 1995 in Milton Keynes and so this brings back good memories. X

My first concert was R.E.M., and my first tour from them was the Monster tour. Both changed my life.

loved this, thanks....it was worth it just to see Let Me In being rehearsed....I have always liked REM, I enjoyed the 90s as much as or more than the 80s REM....weird, I went to see a band called the Suburbs in a small club in a suburban mall south of San Francisco, this was the early 80s...then, like 15 years later, my pal told me that we had seem REM, I said wtf?....apparently they opened the show that night, pre Murmur...

Massive loss not only to the songwriting process but the ability to edit (what sounds great/what doesn't)

As far as music goes, we'll never know what difference it might have made. They still made great music as usual.

How the west was won is their best album for me. Also I saw an interview the four of them did for their induction to I don’t know which hall of fame, but Bill speaks about him leaving the band and it’s very emotional.

Lo que habría dado por verlos en estas fechas. Lástima que vinieron a México, hasta 2004, y después hasta 2008.

"I'd love it if we had 10 songs in the set that no one's heard" - I never got that. People want to hear the songs they know and love!
@KM-zw9qb2 ай бұрын
probably more interesting for the band to play new stuff, see the reactions etc

@@KM-zw9qb No doubt, but they could mix it up by playing different songs that the fans know.
