I think the double action is great as a punishing, unforgiving weapon. That's why I main it. I let its low accuracy get the better of me when I spam fire, forcing me to slow down, and when I have to shoot, I have to take note of all fatal shot zones. To make it more punishing, I set my game to free aim, and I hardly use deadeye while also playing on a stock PS4 controller. I'm not a sucker for punishment, tho. I still use bright colored iron sights.

I honestly agree with you on all of these points since I don't mind the double action revolver, I just prefer the feel of the other revolvers compared to it since single action just feels better to me gameplay wise.

Fr tho I main the double action as John with the short barrel. I pretty much only use it at super short range so I can load like 5 bullets in their chest.

For online I carry the LeMat since It's basically like having an extra weapon type on you at all times, versatility is nice

Yeah, that's how I felt about it. A volcanic in one hand, a lemat in the other, a Lancaster on your shoulder and a boltac on your back makes you able to effectively use the five ammo fed groups.

Cattleman got style, and its fanning speed is insanely fast and cinematic. It just fits an outlaw better. The power difference with a Schofield is almost negligible

I own a Schofield and the hammer is so smooth I can pull it with my pinky. I love it so much, mine has just a 5inch barrel, but its a giant compared to my SA Army. You definitely feel like a brute holding a Schofield.

To be fair, the lamat's slow reload is only a problem if you still have enemies alive at that point, single revolver is 9 rounds at medium and a special one for up close, if you dual wield that is 18 medium range rounds before reloading.

Yeah but the thing with the lamat is you basically have three revolvers and one sawd off (while duel weilding) and when online it's great because you have more bullets and if they start to push you you can swap to the shot gun and blast them

Everyone forgets the double action has the highest chance of making an enemy bleed to death. In the story mode, it makes all the difference in the world because it can become the only revolver to take an enemy down with one bullet to the body.

If you practice with the double action you can legit make it a good gun! the problem with most players is if you dont have a gun that can kill fast or be really accurate then they cant play at all, if you legit just give the double action a bit of time for the aiming visor to shrink then its gonna hit headshots as easy as any other gun! Most of the players or haters dont try to be good thats why you see just people hipfiring the gun 99% of the time! The double action is a gun you have to practice with for it to be good!

I find the double action much easier to use in online with the paint it black perk and the real time dead eye it has. As long as you hit headshots quickly, any of the handguns are good in online though.

I love the double action revolvers I use the gunslingers choice perk with them and it makes them lethal because it makes them so much more accurate making the rapid fire actually effective
