Well, yeah, that is true. The Lancaster is the absolute number 1 for accuracy which makes it the best for PvP since body shots don't count for a lot. Also personally I wouldn't sleep on the Repeater Carbine (Spencer Repeater) either, it's best advantage is the fact it has a (Historically accurate) speedloader, making it the fastest reloading repeater in the game. I wouldn't use the Carbine in PvP though. Strictly a PvE weapon since that's where the advantage shines.

Carbine repeater is my favorite and best in my opinion there's a way too shoot it faster by holding the fire button down as you release the aim button and them aim quickly. It's also more accurate then the other ones

carbine has always been underrated imo i would say it deserves second place, great looking, well rounded, the fastest reload, it just lacks in ammo capacity. (my personal ranking) 4. Lichfield Repeater 3. Lancaster Repeater 2. Carbine Repeater 1. Evans Repeater

Ammo capacity is way more valuable than reload speed. Obviously all of the guns are capable of killing people pretty effectively (especially if you're good with headshots), so none of them suck. But compared to the rest of them, fourth place is where it belongs. With the lower damage and ammo capacity, it's not great with body/limb shots. And if you can land headshots well enough, you might as well just get a gun with more ammo capacity. I can't think of any good reason to use it over any other repeater.

While carbine doesn’t excel at anything it doesn’t lack in anything either, so well it’s not the best if you have a certain play style it’s easily the most well rounded and there’s no situation it’s not good in, all the other rifles have weaknesses but carbine can be good in any situation, if you have moderate skill then you can use the carbine repeater easily and kick ass with it in any situation with other rifles you can usually do even better but if you get into a bad situation with them you’re pretty much fucked and it’s for this reason i’ve always loved carbine.

@@TomatoMan90 That's fair. It is pretty well rounded. I always go with the Litchfield for short to medium range combat, and the bolt action rifle for longer range. Since you can carry two large weapons, I find it unnecessary to have a jack of all trades that excels at nothing in particular, when you could just have two guns that excel at what the other doesn't. It'd definitely rank higher if you could only carry one gun.

@@Mr.MANN1234 it does less damage on body shots though. Lancaster two taps while the Evans three taps. The Lancaster is also a quarter more accurate by default and you can maximize the accuracy to 100 with improved iron sights which makes it the best for landing quick headshots with free aim. Evans to me is just not worth the extra 12 bullets considering the downsides. Plus, most firefights are over before you reach the fourteenth bullet of the Lancaster. You have ample time to reload in between tbh, and that’s without Dead Eye instantly reloading your weapons in single player.

Lancaster Repeater was my main short rifle personally, it’s incredibly reliable because it’s accuracy bonus made the hit to damage worth it compared to the other short rifles, if you’re a good aim and can consistently hit centre mass and headshots you don’t need to worry about the lower damage stat, and even then you can pump it with express rounds to give the damage stat that extra boost.

Lancaster is #1, the accuracy of the weapon is top notch, may lack stopping power on regular ammo, but you can get high velocity and express rounds. Evans repeater is at #2, mainly for storage capacity, holding 26 rounds. But that gives you a really long reload time. Pretty accurate but I rarely use it. The litchfield stats are strange to me. Supposedly they are better than the Lancaster, but I don’t see it. It’s really loud, sounds like I shotgun and it’s hard to hit any damn thing. I rather use the regular carbine repeater.

One thing you completely missed is that the Lancaster can be equipped with a short scope. This makes it incredible as a all-round utility weapon - for long range shots use the scope, and for close/medium range toggle it over to unscoped and use Paint It Black to mark headshots.

If you're looking for realistic points while using the Litchfield, always wear gloves while firing it. The gun has no wooden handguard whatsoever which means you're directly gripping the barrel which can get very hot, very fast. (I found this out the hard way IRL)

You are delusional if you think anything other than the Lancaster should be #1 😂 Litchfield is worst by far! Worst accuracy in the game. I hit more shots with a shotgun at 100 yards than that pathetic Litchfield. Unless you are using deadeye constantly the Litchfield is the worst gun in the game. Its decent in Online if you're using Paint it Black constantly because of its high damage output. Other than that its trash! Carbine gets the 3rd spot because it has a quick reload and decent damage tbh. Evans isnt bad but the reload takes forever due to its high ammo capacity and it has worse accuracy than the Lancaster. That reload will get you killed in Online. Lancaster has the best accuracy of all 4 and has the 2nd best damage behind the Litchfield. The Evans also has probably the most accurate iron sights. The Carbine is weird, the Lancaster is okay but sometimes gets blurry, the Litchfield has too small of a tiny of iron sights, but the Evans sight is clear enough to aim with and is easy to use.

The key is to toss Split Point Rounds into the Litchfield. This brings its accuracy in check with the Lancaster while maintaining its power advantage. The Lancaster with express cartridges would be the #1 repeater except for the well known glitch that express bullets do not functionally increase damage output in game.

The drawbacks to the Litchfield are actually why ive hung with the Lancaster to this day: I much prefer to land all of my shots even if I have to spend a couple more of them to drop the target.

In real life the Evans had some serious design issues, mostly around how the rifle reloads and holds it’s ammunition. The Lichfield is essentially a .44 Henry repeater, which was a rimfire cartridge. Rimfire is generally considered less reliable, and the Henry’s lack of forward grip meant the rifle got extremely hot to hold after successive rounds. The carbine is modeled after the Spencer’s repeater. Not a bad rifle by any stretch, but not considered the best. The Lancaster is modeled after the Winchester 1866. It’s widely considered to be one of the most iconic rifles ever produced and even reproductions are extremely coveted for their smooth action, accuracy and reliability. There for my list is as follows: 1. Lancaster 2. Carbine 3. Lichfield 4. Evans

Lancaster is my second weapon choice after bolt action rifle. Accuracy is everything in this game and powerful weapons like the Litchfield won’t matter if you’re missing your shots because of poor accuracy.

The carbine repeater has the highest per shot damage out of all the repeaters but the lowest magazine capacity, however it is MUCH faster to reload which IMO makes it extremely underrated

Yeah, I dont know what the video is talking, claiming that Lancaster is more powerful than Carbine. Carbine has higher dmg and accuracy. Carbine would be the best overall, but magazine is too small. I rather use Vulcanic pistols, which are pretty much single hand Carbines you can dual wield. Also, when I use long arm with big punch, I rather just take Bolt Action then instead of Carbine, and some faster and large clip repeater like evans instead.
