I don't know who the clarinet player is but on this number he sounds like Benny Goodman with "Sing Sing Sing". GREAT dixieland jazz...THANKS !

This is definitely a different version. I have had the original album since I was a small kid and it is 6 minutes and 34 seconds. The players are Frank asunto trumpet, Fred assunto trombone, Jack assunto trombone and banjo, Stanley Mendelssohn Piano, Jack Maheu clarinet, Red Hawley drums, and Lowell Miller tuba and string bass. I could tell the difference as soon as I heard this version.

Wrong,i have this album in it's original condition and it was Harold Cooper on clarinet ,Stanley Mendolson on piano,Roger Johnson on drums,Bill porter on bass and of course the Assunnto clan on trumpets

Are you sure this is "Sweet Georgia Brown Vol 2 " that is playing now ? This excellent tune you posted lasts 4 minutes and 47 seconds, but on the original vynil Volume 2 the tune "Sweet Georgia Brown" lasts 6 minutes and 34 seconds, so it can not be this one ?? In this case which title is it ? I am desparate to find out , thanks for your help.

This is definitely a different version I've had the original Vol 2 album since I was a small kid and it is 6 minutes and 34 seconds. I could tell the difference the first time I heard this version.
