The conversation of All Might and Endeavor was interesting. Endeavor was basically asking "how can I be you" when asking what is the symbol of peace to All Might, but All Might said in the end he didn't need to be like him. Endeavor can be the symbol of peace at his own way, and that's a really good answer and a lesson for the audience as well. If you want to be like something the most important is to be ypurself, not try to immitate others to get what you want.

Normally only heroes are suppose to have support items like Aoyama's belt. She need a license to use them. However exceptions are made for people who's quirk hurts their body, which is why Aoyama had it when we first saw him at the UA entrance exam. Now we find out it is like Scott Summers' visor, preventing his laser from firing off when he doesn't want it to. Before this I saw a video debating his quirk and several others and the guy pointed out that we had never seen Aoyama use his quirk without the belt, leading him to believe he might need it to use his quirk, not realizing we've never seen Aoyama without his belt.

We've seen him use it without his belt I think twice I believe. But comment down if I'm wrong. Of course one episode was a filler. So I guess it doesn't count.

@@GRGN3 I don't remember that happening. Granted I largely can't remember him without the belt, even when they went to the pool. Which episodes were those? Also the video pointing out he never uses his quirk without the belt was made before this chapter in the manga, so it might of been before those episodes as well.

That is another problem with Eri's quirk. On top of her inability to turn it off and on at will, she can't just keep using it forever. As seen in the sports festival quirks have limits, such as Todoroki suffering from hypothermia after overusing his ice side and refusing to balance it out with his fire. Momo is another case as her quirk uses her fat cells, meaning she can only make so much before she runs out of raw materials. Eri is similar to Momo in that she has to use some sort of resource. However we don't know what resource that is, just that it is apparently stored in her horn. Since even she doesn't know what it is she can't start building it up again. Of course lack of understanding what said resource is can also cause it to build up, since she might started collecting what ever it is without realizing it. For example it could be anxiety or fear, something she had a lot of when in Overhaul's care. Although she still isn't fully out of the woods on that. Right now we can only guess at what makes her horn grow. Overhaul might know, but I wouldn't expect any answers from him.

00:20 Guys, fyi, this isn't the actual provisional hero license exam. This is just them taking a Training Course of it. It's basically like an added curricular activity when you fail your first test so that they could review before re-taking it. That is why the title of the episode itself mentioned about "license trainees."

Something that the manga skipped was that after the kids had their fun, it was Bakugo who lead the kids in destroying and disposing of the slide

@@darknessknows1235 There was more reasonings to his actions and insight about the challenges given. It really showed how analytical he is, how analytical he always has been. Something anime doesn't often show, due to limited amount of inter-thoughts they show (as anime is mostly Deku narrated). Also when they talked about ways to control kids and what should work - Bakugou was mindful of Todoroki, remembering that he came from abusive family, catching himself up before he bubbled some insensitive stuff, about using violence for parenting (which may have "worked" in Katsuki's case but was traumatic for Shoto).

Remember that by this point they talked about a possible UA traitor. It was actually a HUGE thing at the time that people thought it was Aoyama because of this weird behaviour (and I believe the manga chapter ended with that image of Aoyama at the window), but it ended up being a sweet and heartfelt start to their friendship. What I LOVE about it is that they're quite close after this, and are seen hanging out often throughout the rest of season 4.

Aoyama's quirk is similar to Cyclops' quirk, except for the obvious difference of it coming out of his stomach. In a lot of versions, Cyclops has to wear the visor (or sunglasses I guess) or he'll just blast everything; Aoyama's navel laser isn't quite as uncontrollable, but he has the same problem. Of course the manga author did deliberately make it weird by having Aoyama phrase it as "leak out". The manga artist thinks weird stuff is funny; what can you do?
