In the above video, I am going to show the genuine recipe of dum pukht. This is the original and traditional way to make meat in a pot on the wood fire. Dam Pukht is salty meat with very fewer ingredients which is so delicious.

Lamb Meat-2kg
Potato-750gms
Onion-1medium
Garlic-1whole
Salt-2tsp
Fat-150gms
Lemon Juice-4tbs

Both potatoes and tomatoes are used in dam pukht, but in some recipes we don't use tomatoes as i did. Science behind using these two vegetables without cutting is, when heat in the pot rises and is more than required heat for meat, potatoes and tomatoes absorb that heat and let our meat cook at moderate temperature.
