I'm new to your channel. Interesting vlog. I used to live Dumaguete as a student in the past. I have lived in that building behind you 0:46 - 1:22, it used to be a student Dormitory of Silliman U. Dumaguete was a very laid back small city, not anymore now, so crowded and busy. Long way in its deep past... DURING ww2, the Japanese soldiers used this Dormitory for interrogation/ torture, 'twas told. That's the horrors of wars on Silliman grounds. But it's nice to have the glimpse of the place and catching up with Dumaguete in your vlog. My last time in Dumaguete was escaping the lockdown pandemic Feb 2020 and had to fly back home quickly. I'm enjoying this vlog. Thank you Alex.

Dauin is a small city center near Dumaguete, surrounded by open land with private houses. It has local schools, cafes, a beach, and a recently built mall. I have numerous videos from this area already on my channel.
