If people wonder why so many recommend immediately Pleading the Fifth and refusing to talk to police, experiences like this are the reason why. Guy clearly stated what was going on, opened the locked trunk to retrieve his ID for the cops, and was still put in handcuffs and detained. He gained nothing by his gestures of cooperation and his rights were trampled anyway. If the result is going to be entirely determined by the cop's ego rather than your actions, why would you waive your rights to assist them? Wouldn't you rather insist on those rights so you at least have an avenue of retribution, should that same cop overstep their authority?

She escalated the contact from the beginning, and tried saying he refused to cooperate, when that's a total, outright lie, to try and justify her poor attitud and unprofessional behavior! (calling him buddy is also disrespectfull, it is sir or mister for her...) Then when its over, she starts mocking him when he says he is going to take it to court. Asks why he is still there, after she wasted that mans time for minutes to let it escalate) But hey...... what do you expect from police in a 2nd world country where it takes a couple of months to become a pig....uhm cop, instead of a 2 year training like in the developed world where shit like that doesnt happen.

@@loganrufus1316 I've had cops violate my rights before... in ways that makes this look like a trip to the massage parlor. But putting that aside, the point is this guy copped an attitude first. He started telling her off just because she got close enough to look inside the trunk when he opened it. Which again; any decent cop would have done. He was the one who was confrontational first, not the cop. That's just the truth as I see it when I watched this video. I'm not trying to show anyone respect.
