Bro that Shane 3rd place battle was actually one of the most disrespectful games of skate I ever watched. That whole campaign he was bodying anyone he was playing skate against (it was either this year or the year after I think he didn’t get a letter for like 3/4 games, just straight skunking niggas) and he was actually REALLY close to winning the match he was in to get into the finals but kept missing a trick and you could tell he was pissed about losing So this 3rd place battle was essentially like him missing a buzzer beater 3 to win the game then dropping a 60 pointer next game. I think he could’ve played God during that game and have won. And I feel like if the game kept going he would’ve pulled out some STUPID NBDS. That switch big double flip was like a fucking warm up and that’s terrifying to think on
@TheBlakus4202 жыл бұрын
Damn, dawg. You might be right on that. There's no telling what all he can actually throw down first try like that. You'd just have to shred with him to know what he's actually capable of, which is probably more than most of us would imagine....

shane strategy againts mike mo was on point. mike mo is one of the best at GOS. He knew that Mike Mo could had done all tricks that usually played and the game would become more of an endurance fight. Just go for the killer right from the start when legs are still fresh so he would also be more confident landing them

there are many things in life that are problematic. life can be and is often very difficult. let us all be thankful for silly ass games of skate, and even more so, people who are dedicated to emphasizing just how much fun can be had from such material. fyi, physics can be dumb too, so dont hold back my people.

woah hearing Cory Kennedy in a video is weird now. He is like a skaterboarding ghost at this point... :(
@randomnostalgiamemes92972 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure Cory was drunk or stoned haha. It's so unlike him to skate flat that badly. In his early career he was practically unbeatable and came very close to winning early BATB's, only losing to people like P-rod I think. I was disappointed to see his career go so downhill once he started drinking. But I guess he had nothing left to prove after all those wins and video parts
@talk-supersix-seven60212 жыл бұрын
I didn't know Cory hit drinking hard he did seem like he was a bit faded in epicness of snoho and snohomish I used to love watching those videos of his again and again. I hope he's doing okay.

turns not rounds. koston landed 8 and missed 1, dyrdek landed 3 and missed 7, plus a redo so another 1 turn. 8+1+3+7+1= yeah 20

Am I misremembering a post-game interview or something where Billy Marks basically said Cory was drunk during their game? Can't seem to find it anymore, it might've been the pre-game interview for Billy's 2nd round battle from BATB 6... in any case, it would certainly add up in retrospect :/

That “unwritten rule” about not doing death blow tricks until each person has thrown out a few basics has been broken MANY TIMES. I can’t name the specific battles off the top of my head but Cody Cepeda has def went for the throat right from the get-go a few times. Also Leandre Sanders(not calling that fake pro “Skate Goat”) went straight to the double flips when he started on offense against Chris Joslin in BATB12. IMO he knew his fate and wanted to try weaseling his way into getting as many letters on Chris right from the beginning in hopes that a miracle would drop on his head & he’d be able to finish him off with the remaining letters on another turn. Fortunately the clown that claims no stance was no match for his opponent that has EVERY TRICK IN EVERY STANCE. Leandre take your @ss back to Venice skatepark to try hustling off those wack BRYTE boards with your signature on them to any little kid gullible enough to beg his parents to buy him one
