Crucio and Bombarda Maxima would've been better IMO. IIRC Crucio is really painful, while Bombarda Maxima isn't unforgiveable. IDK, I haven't read or watched Harry Potter in years, but Avada Kedavra seems really instant and painless. Basically there is a ministry of magic that is like the law of the wizarding world and Hogwarts is a school of magic that is the best in the wizarding world, the ministry started ti disagree with Hogwarts because of the headmaster (Albus Dumbledore) so they sent Deloris umbridge who basically is a karen that likes to control everything, loves pink, loves fancy plates, loves cats and loves to dump a truckload of sugar into her tea, her methods defied the ministries laws and she was essentially a dark witch as she almost used crucio (the torture spell) on harry potter (the main character) to get information about dumbledore’s location because he had escaped because harry and a few other students were raising an army to fight back but dumbledore took the blame for it sadly. So yeah everyone absolutely despises her.
