To use the voltage feedback on the DumboRC X6FP 6ch receiver, I made a cable using an extension balancing cable that I cut in half and then used only the full voltage pins output and went to B+B- input of the receiver. I had a three pin connector that I made into a two pin connector and only used the black and red wires and soldered those on to the extension cable. Now when I plug in a new battery, I simply plug in both the battery to my ESC and I also plug in the modified balancing cable to the battery also. I suspect the reason you have to have a separate B+B- cable is because the receiver gets a stepped down voltage from the ESC as in a BEC circuit, and this is not the full voltage of the battery being monitored. Bottom line, is a manual would definitely help. It seems we all have to figure this stuff out.

The slight light dimming is normal if leds are connected to the servo channels. That will happen with any other receiver as well. Regarding the trainer function: The pictures of the wireless coach module for the remote show also a 3pin connector with a signal labeled pwm. So it's likely that this works similar to the flysky wireless trainer. You can bind a dumborc to a X6FP receiver which is connected to the dumborc wireless coach module which is plugged into another dumborc controlled by a trainer that then binds to another receiver in the rc model. Then the trainer can overrule the signals from the student if needed. And yes, the lack of manuals is weird.

Thanks for the explanation of the trainer mode! I may grab this so I'll feel more comfortable letting someone new to RC drive my rigs. Especially since I now have 3 DumboRC transmitters, the X6, X4, & the Rlaarlo X4 Variant... I wonder if the (P) reciever's battery level function will work with the Rlaarlo AM-X12 transmitter....

Hi Donald. Just a thought. The chart in your new transmitter video says the X6FP controls lights for "any" channel, not "all" channels. I suspect that the two pin LED controller that you found is the only light controller. The default channel is probably channel 3. You can probably change that to another channel on the transmitter. But without documentation, we may never figure out how. I am most disappointed with the battery feedback lights. I would have thought that feature would work with the 3-in-1 since it is already connected to the battery. You might notice on the transmitter box that there are two new 3-in-1's not out yet, the QD10 and the X10F. I am hoping that they might include the battery feedback function. (I am a trail runner, not a rock crawler. So I love the 3-in-1, as I do not need the modulation that it is lacking...)
@donaldsneffe

This is true. Maybe "any" means only one... Good manuals would be the most important thing for those Dumbo receivers. The new manual for the radio is ok, but for receivers still missing....

Do you know how the range of the X4 receiver compares to the X6 receiver? I haven't been able to find this information. I do it according to the instructions, i.e. I press the "bind" button for 3 seconds. after turning on ESC, my receiver pairs with the transmitter and the lower LED lights up green, while the upper one remains red. consequently, I cannot change any receiver settings, e.g. when I press the bind button 3 times, the lower LED flashes red 3 times and remains green, and the gyroscope does not turn on. the mode key button control also does not work and the upper LED remains red. If I try to activate any command, it blinks green and remains red. please help.

@donaldsneffe

Such nach "1.5 mm 3-Pin micro plug". Korrekte Bezeichnung JST ZH 1.5 mm (3-Pin).
