SIDE NOTE - I almost didn't want to include the chicken and rice recipe because it is such a basic recipe. HOWEVER, that can also be a good thing! I included it for 2 reasons. 1. It is just that. This is a great recipe to start with and add your own flare. (Veggies, toppings, etc.) And 2. It uses no "cream of" soup. I do use cream soups occasionally, but if a recipe is great without them...that is always a plus in my book!

A good tip on your first recipe is to put 1 cup of those 3 cups water into your pasta sauce jar & shake it up to get all the residual sauce left in the jar. Love your recipes & channel!🧡

Anytime I have a cookie sheet under whatever I am putting in the oven it takes longer to cook. So what I have started doing is putting the cookie sheet on the rack below my dish....and it works to catch any bubble over and cooks like its supposed to :)

The apple dump cake is a classic at my house, but I always hated the dry spots, so I started mixing the butter and the cake mix and then sprinkling the mixture over the top. It evens out when it bakes and no more dry spots!

I've been watching a ton of these "dump cake" recipes thanks to KZbin, and I found a few where, instead of butter with the cake mix, some people use cans of pop (yes, pop, I'm Canadian), so for example, a can of cherry coke if you're making a black forest cherry cheese cake. Man, I'm drooling just thinking about it!

That casserole with Italian meatballs was terrific! We had it for dinner tonight, & it will definitely make a regular appearance on our table. Even though my meatballs were frozen, I simply defrosted them in the microwave, & the whole thing was ready for the oven in a jiffy. I made ours gluten-free, & it worked great. (Sometimes g-f noodles can be a tad funny.) Thanks so much!
