Dumpster Dive Success! We Found a DRONE and Lots More at Apartments!

Happy New Year, you guys!!! We wanted to make sure to have a brand new video up for y’all today to start 2024 off right 🥳 We couldn’t believe all the things we found in apartment dumpsters, it really seems like people threw out the old to make room for the new. We are stoked that the two electronics work, we will definitely have fun using both of them!

Fun to hang out with you guys today!! As for cold, it’s all relative! For you 30 (which is just below 0 Celsius) in January is cold but would be pretty mild here in Toronto. However , while I am used to cold in Southern Ontario I’ve flown waaaay up North in Ontario for work and had to buy special boots and mittens to manage up there. While people who lived up there full time, didn’t find it cold at all! Personally, not a big fan of the cold and my dream is to spend winters in a warmer climate. Right now I can only do my job in Canada which doesn’t leave too many options - Southern British Columbia maybe! Thanks again - great way to start 2024!!!

Be thankful it’s cold because it keeps bacteria down. That clothes rack will drive you crazy unless you superglue it together. 😂

Honestly sometimes people get excited about throwing their Christmas paper and stuff and boxes in the trash, unfortunately sometimes presents get tossed away too!!! It's crazy!! Congratulations on your new gifts!!!!

WOW…what cool finds. It’s Amazing what you’ll find. I finally went dumpster diving today as all the shops are closed a few Dumpsters were open I found lots of Christmas decorations someone threw away plus stuff from Dollar Store Some cute things. Happy new year! I I was so excited for you when you found the drone and projector. What awesome finds.and things that you can really use. Amazing what people throw away. I'm just glad you got to them before the trash trucks showed up. When testing flying things such as that drone, always learn to fly them over large grassy areas. We learned that when my son was gifted an RC helicopter. If they crash, you want the softest landing possible with no obstructions. Good that you have that aviation park nearby. I've never seen such a compact projector. You'll get so much use out of those things. I would call the drone company and tell them that piece got lost and see if they will send you a replacement part. It always pays to contact the manufacturer, they will often send you the part at no or very little cost, sometimes just shipping. Enjoy your videos. Give Bones some pets from me. He's so cute. Black kitties are the best!

The good thing about eggs is that they last outside of the refrigerator, but I’d refrigerate them as u get home, and then do the float test.

Always keep in mind that a Single Shoe can be donated. They can benefit people with one foot. My mother was an amputee of the left leg, so she could only use a right foot shoe ❤ Love how you both rescue usable items from our landfills. 🩷👍😊

I used an old dishwasher insert when camping . Put silverware , tongs , lifter , salt and pepper. Made it easy at meal time

You probably already know how to check if eggs are still good, but best way is get a pan full of cold water, place eggs in it. If eggs sink, they are good. If they stand on end, still good but use them quick. If they float, throw them out, definitely not good. Love watching you too!! What a great team you are!!

Happy 2024! We love going with you. Lots of goodies on this outing. The cloth that looked like "mummy wrapping" are cloth covers for dining tables. They are really nice and usually wash up nicely.

U left a few of the parts to the clothing rack. It’s always good to double check that stuff, but u can put rubber bands in the area so that the bar doesn’t slide down. U can improvise, or get the part when u see another one. ❤
