I can’t believe we found the mushroom cat scratcher we’ve always wanted!! Plus dog food to donate and food from a grocery store. This was such an awesome dive, y’all know we struggle to finds things behind retail shops in our area, so this was a refreshing change of pace for us! You two make dumpster diving hilarious. Especially when Alex gets silly. Bones will have a great time scratching the mushroom. If you had some catnip spray, spray it on the top to get Bones up there . Alex get it fixed quickly so Bones can have fun with it. You guys need head lamps to wear when it's dark. You would be surprised how well they light up the inside of a dumpster.

We have headlamps at the house, but didn't think to bring them since we had our "fully charged" light haha! We will start keeping them in the car for situations like this!

I would screw the scratching mushroom to a piece of wood just a bit bigger than the base, so it won't fall over on Bones as he rubbs or scratched on it. 😊

Bones has gotten so tall. Wow! So beautiful. I think night diving is good because trash hasn't been picked up. People haven't picked through stuff. You just need some headlamps. 🙂 This was the best and coolest dive.

I’ve broke up a large bag of dog food into gallon ziploc sand put it in a blessing box. I found the food at the dumpster. I loved it!

Once you get the mushroom fixed, put the base under something solid to keep it from tipping over. Bones really likes it. He starts talking saying put it back down I like it. 😃

Hey Alex, maybe you can screw the mushroom onto a heavy piece of wood so it won’t move when bones scratches on it. It would be easier than repairing the bottom maybe just glue or screw in the bottom to the wood piece then screw the mushroom to the bottom.

Hi guys, Just fix the bottom of the mushroom scratch pole with a glue gun. spread the glue in the crack, press together and allow to dry. Lovies granny Sue xxx
