the picture from months passed can be used as picture art, hangers can be donated to churches and clinics too anywhere clothing is hung up, schools too. You can also put coffee in your Vacuum cleaner too ☺️

An old school language arts exercise began with a picture glued to (old school, thicker) construction paper, cardboard, tag board, and/ or old cork board coverings; generally what was available to the teachers for free. For the young, colors, geometric shapes, items (nouns), visible or perceived actions (verbs), and maybe a verbal story line. For the more academically endowed, written descriptive sentences, paragraphs, maybe a fictional story line, essays, opinion or position papers, etc.. were assigned. Inbetween was the full range of language arts assignments.

Jolie, I AGREE! I started painting 3 years ago, painting ROCKS--- Then graduated to CANVAS. I couldn't IMAGINE throwing ANY of my creations in the trash--- I would MUCH rather DONATE it than have it in the garbage! It definitely IS a shame, And I am glad that Mr. Volt rescued them, too!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰

The school and day care use calendar for the picture and they use the numbers to count! lots of things they can do whit thoses papers ,any kind of papers can be use to write and drawing ! Tank you for taking care of the planet!👍👍

Hi Again I Think Nursing Homed would Love the Calendars !! I know when my Mom & Daddy were in there they asked me for a Calendar! I’m sure all the Patients would Love to have one they could use and call their own !!! Or a Planner to Write or Doodle on !?!?!? Just a little FYI ! For Ideas! Yes, an 18 month calendar works for more of a school year but if you're mid year and trying to get your appointments, assignments, and more organized it can be a PIA and expensive to find a calendar. My first thoughts would be a community center, a treatment center, transitional housing or other shelter, or teacher. On the other hand, if your Blessing Boxes allow non-food items you might also put a few in the Box to see if they move; if they move, the Blessing Boxes are quick and easy.

Hangers from departmental store are strong and durable, plus great to be donated or personal use, i grab them sometimes and sent to 2nd hand store, they usually take 50¢ a piece.

All of those paintings are incredible, were they handmade? Crazy how many were in there. I’ve found a bunch of handmade paintings before as well and it’s sad to see pretty artwork get thrown out. Nice work rescuing them from the dumpster guys!

Start looking at marinated mushroom recipies and then also at the ingredients lists of marinated mushrooms on the shelf. Water bath canned, marinated mushrooms last a year or so. Simply set in the fridge, they will generally last a couple of months. Until you get to the actual canning process, they are pretty quick and easy; less than a half hour if you're reasonably set up. They only call for a 10 minute water bath so, if water bathing you can probably be set for the cool down period in under 2 hours.

I worked at a clothing retailer where they had hangers like those. We would use large rubber bands and group them up and sell 10/$ or so I was kinda surprised that there were several folks who wanted them. But what I like about them- is the hooks swivel, they are very narrow- which allows more garments to hang is less space, I’ve had my hangers of that period for over 10 years- sure some have broken -but they were free.

I use to take my old callenders and use the pics as posters or for scrap booking..it was fun..also if you find new ones..some stores do throw out new 9nes sometimes like staples..you can donate to schools..middle and high school..even college..and universities..students u know. And I'm an artist..to see ppls hard work in the dumpster like that..knowing how long it takes to paint something...it hurts..

One of the things I've done is to take an outdated calander, example the baby farm animal one I used, and bought 12 frames from dollar tree and framed all 12 months pictures and decorated my grandsons bedroom. As his likes change I just change out the calander of pictures. Now my granddaughters want their own framed pictures. Good use for calander. Also I decoupage some of the pictures on his trash can, a toy box, and again can be changed as his tastes change.

I know a teacher that had kids use calendars to practice writing numbers and letters in the squares. Also the pictures are good for arts and crafts.

Interesting assortment. Where dud you find all the pictures?: They can be donated. Maybe a women's shelter. Check with an art teacher in a school. One of our art teachers recycled canvas, painting over them. The portrait is lovely.Keep up the great work.

Theres a guy I watch from time to time that dumpster dives. He gets those hangers and sells them on ebay. He said they don't go fast but he does eventually get rid of them.

Unless they all had the same signature, might be abandon student paintings. Some of them were pretty bad or unfinished, etc. In any case, when they end up at places like GW, people but them just for the canvas and paint over whatever is already there. Whatever the case might be, glad you rescued them. The pictures on those calendars can be cut out and used for craft projects.

Yes a few times we never had any trouble with any employees only one security guard made us leave. Another security guard told us to come back during the day because they don't patrol during the day at that location. For the most part they are fine with it we just tell them we are looking for recyclables and that we will clean up around us we never make a mess.
