Hey guys, I love what you did with your backyard. Sophie's play house is so cute! I always wanted one when I was little. Sadly I had boys that weren't interested in a "play house." It is so nice to see parents do stuff like that for their kids! Great haul 👌 💜🥰

Lets say, whatever you find in a dumpster is the same you find in a store,just in a different place, so yes it's good that you can rescue it and donate ,well done to both.Love your channel. x

Lol, I would have been in heaven with all that garlic. I would have processed it into whole peeled, chopped, ground, roasted, frozen in all forms, made into garlic flavored oils and butters, both plain and roasted, and how ever else it could have been used. Lots of veggies can be prepped and processed for freezing and canning as well as all those fruits cleaned, processed, frozen or baked into breads, cakes and desserts, plus ice cream. Thank you for all you do. Keep it up and be safe.

When your family like icecream, chop bananas and strawberries, freeze them. The day you like the icecream put the fruits frozen in a really good blender with some powdered sugar and cream…..it is immediately ready to eat. You can use all kinds of fruits. Our favorite is bananas and strawberries! Delicious!!!😉

The next time that you find alot of bananas and they're overly ripe, Chop 5 of the peelings up in a food processor, dump them into a 5 gallon bucket. Fill with rain water . Let it sit over night at least. Give a good stir and water your plants with the water. You'll be amazed! My indoor Christmas cactus bloomed in June!!!

When I used to make pasta or spaghetti sauce, I used to make BIG stock pots worth of it (8-16 lb of meat) then freeze most of it. The beauty of a microwave is that even if you fail to take a bag of it out ahead of time, you can still be eating dinner in 20-60 minutes.
@voltdivin2 жыл бұрын
Yes it is a huge help just being able to make so much a head of time and having it ready saves so much time and money.
@terryhenderson4242 жыл бұрын
@@voltdivin I have made from scratch spaghetti sauce (with canned tomato sauce, no bitter tomato paste thank you) more often than not when still at home and ever since because I prefer the taste. I seldom make serious, reduced Itslisn sauce with the sausages, cheeses, or kiss of anchovy paste. But by golly, my motivation for making big batches has always revolved around washing the pots. My 8 year old self had a disdain for the pot washing, chore rotation (what we were given was manageable and not some oven encrusted thing) and my general aversion to pots, pans, and skillets hasn't changed since.

Cake mixes can be adjusted to make cookies and bars as well- the Betty Crocker website has several recipes- I also like the online bisquick impossible pie recipes for inspiration. One could use white or yellow cake mix as a base for banana bread, and the yellow squash could become a variation on zucchini bread.

I would have taken that bag of broken clay pots. some were still whole, but the broken pieces are useful to cover the drainage hole in the bottom of the pot so that you won't lose the potting soil. More broken shards also provide drainage space in pots with no drainage hole. Nothing goes to waste.

Abiut that bird feeder.....we fed birds in and off for years. And then we had cat that lived with use for a couple of years which believed in a food chain that included all small critters, 4 legged or winged. He wandered into the yard pretty ragged in August, by October we pulled the brid feeders, and by July the next year we had a zillion flying insects. By August we were scattering very limited seed to bring the birds in. By September the flying insect population was noticeably reduced. - We sorta, kinda knew and suspected that the bird feeders were bringing the birds in and reducing our insect population but this experience proved it.

If you don't already have one, look for a blueberry bush which grows well in your area and is a heavy producer. More so than with roses, it is important to get a type and cultivar suited to an area and the actual micri-climate it is to be grown in.
