Absolutely disgraceful!! People are waiting hours and hours for miles in line for a food pantry. How could these stores just throw out all this good food?! America better get their values in order! Just sickening to me to see such waste when people are going hungry!! I am a chaplain and recently came back from deployment to Oregon for the fires. One of the families who lost everything, their home, their vehicles, their business, were already struggling ...business was shut down because of Covid then burned up in the fire along with their house which they could no longer afford the insurance payments on. The mom had just had a baby days before the fire. This was a family with three kids. Oldest was in 9th grade. Newborn and a three year old. They had NO food. None! No one could help them because everyone there was in the same boat. It took a while for the food pantries to kick in and help to arrive. They also had no vehicle to get out of there. Through tears of them telling me their story while we stood in front of their burned down home and Samaritans Purse volunteers sifted through the ashes looking for anything valuable that may have survived, they told how they were starving and had no food for days. Nothing. The three year old was crying and crying from hunger and the mom had to teach him to nurse on her like the baby just so the little ones would have something to eat. AMERICA!!!! Why are we THROWING food away?!!! Such a disgrace!! I am very glad you guys rescue food. I know you also donate and share with others. THANK YOU!!!! You guys are great! So glad you share these videos so others can see what is going on out there in the world. We all need to stand up for what is right. It may seem like a small thing that a store throws out some produce or dairy products until you meet up with families that are absolutely desperate. Again, thank you for bringing awareness. Your channel is fun to watch and light hearted but it also shows the reality of the mindset and waste in this country. Blessings to you and yours. Happy Thanksgiving!!

It just amazes me how much good food you find everyday in the dumpsters!! You would spend a whole lot if you bought all of those things! BTW-I had plantar fasciitis in both feet at once and "ouch" it does hurt! I found gel heel cups at the Dr. Scholl's display at the grocery store and the doctor said I had picked the right thing. I also found that doing the exercises they tell you to do really does help. And, finally, friends tell me there is some device you can wear on your feet at night that will make plantar fasciitis go away in 3 days! You might look into that!

I can't fathom how it is cheaper/better for a company to toss 5 good jars of whatever because the 6th broke. I pulled 5 jugs of fabric softener from a dumpster (I had to go in and then pull my big ass out of the dumpster) left the 6th behind. Those 5 jugs just needed the split softener washed off of them.

En nuestro país no estamos pasándolo bien, no puedo creer cuanta comida tiran a la basura, yo vivo cerca de un Wal-Mart, el cual fue vendida toda la operación porque se va del país. Nunca en nuestra basura vas a encontrar cosas o comida gratis, generalmente los supermercados si pueden pasar comestibles caducados lo hacen, bajan su precio y recién desaparecen 24 horas después del vencimiento. Since you like to cook and often find many of the things you would need, I will share with you a copycat version of a restaurant recipe that is very good. Big bag of restaurant style tortilla chips 2 cartons of Jack Daniels BBQ brisket (or similar brand) 2 Fresh diced tomatoes 1 can black beans, drained 1 can sweet corn, drained 1 1/2 cups of diced green shallots 2 cans of green chilies 1 bag of Mexican blend shredded cheese In a casserole dish, pour in tortillas then add the brisket, tomatoes,black beans, shallots, green chilies, corn and then pile on the Mexican cheese. 375° for 15-20 minutes

For the plantar fasciitis buy these arch support wraps called Strutz from Walmart (around $12). They work great, are washable and comfortable. Don't order from Amazon. They sent me a bogus version from China that was flat where it should have been the thick arch support.
