I found the answer to the destroyed clothes and other items that stores throw out. They can claim a deduction for the merchandise thru I R S but all items must be destroyed. The deduction they get is more than a charitable donation deduction. Such a shame, so many people could really use these things.

That key fob is not for a Dodge Viper but for a Viper alarm system. Probably pretty valuable and a resellable item on eBay. And that keyboard probably has good resale value on eBay also. That hand cart is for moving refrigerators and heavy furniture. Pretty expensive too! Don't scrap it either keep it or sell it. Love the long videos!

Pasta frola (Greek: Πάστα Φλώρα),[1] is a type of sweet tart common to Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Egypt and Greece.[2][3] It is a covered, jam-filled shortcrust pastry dish principally made from flour, sugar and egg.[4] Common fillings include quince cheese, dulce de batata (sweet potato jam), dulce de leche, guava, or strawberry jam.[1] The covering of the tart is a thin-striped lattice which displays the filling beneath in square sections. Pastafrola is most usually oven-baked in a circular shape. Most of the Greek versions of this dish are filled with sweet jam: it was considered a morning dessert. The name of the dish comes from the Italian word for shortcrust pastry, and is similar to the Crostata native to that country. The spread of the dish within Argentina and Uruguay is connected to extensive Italian immigration to the region.[5] Other similar European dishes include the Austrian Linzer torte and Swiss tarts with a spiced-fruit filling.[6] The dish is served as an afternoon dessert (merienda) or with mate (a South American drink), but may be eaten at any time of the day.[6] Ingredients The ingredients for the dish are:[7][8] Flour Egg Sugar Butter or margerine Jam filling (most common are quince, sweet potato jam, dulce de leche, guava, or strawberry) Lemon zest Vanilla extract

@dragonmaddie
@dragonmaddie 5 жыл бұрын
they look like roses though, and while that might work with some cuttings like impatiens etc, wouldn't they be better with a little hormone rooting powder and put into a little sandy potting mix to root? although if they have dried out they will not take too well.

@@uncledave630 well as i can only go 35 years experience with rose cuttings specifically, 20 of which as a professional gardener, and have never known anyone to put rose cuttings in water to root, due to that woody stem, i guess i shall bow to your greater knowledge, but still recommend a little rooting powder and a nice free draining soil.
@uncledave630
@uncledave630 5 жыл бұрын
@@dragonmaddie My wife and I found out it is a good thing to cut rose bush flowers off for the house but just for the bush we cut stems after the rose is falling apart off the bush. They never have wood on them just green stems and put them in water without the flower and no leaves in the water. Your rose bush will grow more flowers next time. And the cuttings will have little white roots then place in small pots or in ground. UncleDave
@dragonmaddie
@dragonmaddie 5 жыл бұрын
@@uncledave630 ah i see so you avoid taking woody cuttings and use just the short green stems. for most rose cuttings i was taught to take are between 7 and 12 inches so avoiding taking woody cuttings is an impossibility. i guess i can see some logic in using just the fresh green growth. it is just not a method i have ever heard of nor one i have seen used commercially. most roses used for cut flowers are of a longer stemmed variety which usually means that stem is quite woody if you are going for a traditional length of cutting. some cultivars will not thrive outside of a greenhouse . depending on where you are of course. lol of course roses will grow more flowers, they thrive on being cut back hard. my first head gardener taught me, make them think you are killing them and they will flower better for you next year.

I've been watching a lot of scavenger videos lately, and I'm baffled that its legal to throw fluorescent tubes in the ordinary trash in the US?! In my neck of the woods, they're considered Hazardous Waste, and must be handed in to a recycling station that can handle that kind of stuff.
@jrand2631
@jrand2631 5 жыл бұрын
@mister kluge Yeah I reckon there's different laws from state to state. Here where I live (Northern Europe) it could cost you a huge fee if you throw hazardous waste in the ordinary trash dumpsters, because when the garbage companies goes the landfill or waste management stations, the content of their trucks are checked, and if the guys at the landfill/waste management stations finds hazardous waste in the truck, they are rejected and forced to go home and sort the waste before they can get rid of it. It costs them a lot of money., and you - the owner of the dumpster - gets a huge fine/invoice, and they do not collect your trash again before you pay the bill!
