Dumpster Diving - Quality Hauls and Radioactive Smalls!

All kinds of treasures to be found out there dumpster diving today! I won't spoil the surprise but we filled the car once and went back for more, ended the day with a whole pile of quality stuff to resell! Oh, and learned about radioactivity at the scrap yard. Unexpected adventure!

Always bring home any scraps of 2" foam board, you can easily put it between the studs of your shop using 2 1/4" screws, a lot easier than buying fiberglass insulation! I did the entire North and west sides of my 1890-1915 farmhouse and am saving a $1,000 a year in propane

Pretty sure the magnets in the bracelet links are to promote circulation in the hands because of the iron in blood. That 'technology' has been around for like 20 years. No idea if it works. A sash balance is a doo dad for making sash windows slide up and down smoothly. I liked the sculpture thingie by the engine you found. Would look nice in my yard. I tried that new Coke stuff- made me want to throw up. You gave it a good description. Soooo cool about the radioactivity thing. Radium paint - that's what killed Marie Curie. Any trupdate? I love your videos, it's fascinating to see how different scrapping and dumpster diving are up there in Alberta than they are down here in Illinois. You find some awesome stuff that I never seem to down here, and way more of the businesses here have all their trash under lock and key. Also, you never seem to find any bodies (I've found a few here). I have a feeling a dumpster bingo set up for my area would look a bit different 😂

Maybe check your area some city's have pallet recycling plants , if there good there re used . I would set m aside on every job site-find a buyer and sell before our crew pulled out for the job .
