Greetings from Nova Scotia. This is a typical storm here on Wednesdays and I love every minute of it. Hubby was a mobile mechanic for 30 yrs with the D.O.T, great winter memories of the blizzards.

Agreed 100% Unfortunate not enough people realize this. I've been saying a simpler version for years, "Wisdom is knowing how to use knowledge."

Making bad decisions is part of wheeling. Getting stuck, feeling hopeless and pulling each other out is 80% of the fun

See, this is why I ride dirtbikes since the 70's and stay off the snow. You guys are great problem solvers. We've used barb wire found out in the socal desert to tow a bike into camp. Life saver.

I appreciate the honesty... So many people would so easily have edited around and refused to be human and not release the fact they make mistakes. I also enjoyed the way you problem solve so, that's another reason I'm glad you made this video!. Cheers.

Whiteout conditions = stupid decisions. I have seen and experienced it many times. I'm not a car guy of any description and yet I always come back to this channel. So humble, genuine, and the team vibes are phenomenal!

Maybe some tire chains ?

Or snow chains...
@grantdavis59923 жыл бұрын
I live in the foothills of the Sierras and the sign on the state highway reads, all year, "Chains may be required at any time, carry chains." There are often times when chains are required and enforced even for 4wd with snow tires. IOW I always carry chains.

@@grantdavis5992 Utah law permits the use of studded snow tires between October 15th and March 31st as well as chains.
@PoppiB3 жыл бұрын
@@AudioFreqx studded tires are nice....casual driving on ice. Matt would throw the studs on his first recovery. Chains are great, however digging in as they do during the rescue will destroy them too. A load of sand would help, but it’s heavy. All these options, I guess it all depends on your mission in the snow.
