this guy is takin stuff that is in a recyckle container to his home.. have you ever had to clean up after people that does stuff like that.. the last couple of houses i had to emty, took well over 20 big moving trucks with garbage.. i have a friend that have a large farm he fills up just like this guy, some of it does have value, but most of it just get destroyd by the weather and is poluting, and loses its value.. who needs rustet metal for example, or old wood that is no good. or 20 cars that have been leaking for years some of these people actually destroy stuff that could have been recykled. few have space to take care of it like it needs to keep its value, after all we do throw alot away.. often these kind of people are extreme hoarders
@djpmatchbox

@@Hansen710 you obviously don't know what he does. He scraps. Meaning he takes things out of the TRASH, not the recycling and scraps it for money which is how he makes his living. If you watch other videos you'd see he's not a hoarder and is organized. What would you rather him do? Live on welfare?

@The Review Shack Possibly true & that were all a bit aloof at times as well. To satisfy the junker types that do dumpster diving Mike should edit videos to have a second channel for them collectors, of course that would mean he needs a bigger yard to store stuff. Mike, Those are contractors usually used for motor or power control. The coil on the inside is where you would connect you power on off button. There are wholesalers who buy old stock inventory and resell it. They are big on circuit breakers and power controls. When ever you find large amounts of power control or industrial parts. You might want to try to find a buyer.

Hey Mike, I wonder if those breaker things are used in commercial freezers. Heard there was a shortage of parts and they were in dire need, so you might check what those are used for and see if it's one of the things that they are having a shortage of, even if they are used in something else. Then, Mike be saving the USA !!

Fiber optical cables, and patch panels used to connected optical tie lines, and or terminate fiberoptics in data centers and IT rooms. The blue connector on the end of the yellow fober I believe is UPC style.

It would not pay me to be a scrapper, I would keep to much of the stuff. Those wire shelves you found, I just paid $65 for a set of those shelves. All of the Cat wire you find I would be hording it like crazy!! Mike, keep up the videos always look forward to the next one.

That's why Laura (Mrs Scavenger) keeps him in check. 😊 Sometimes I think she says NO too often, but she knows best and Mike apparently respects her opinion, he never whines about her not letting him keep something. They sure look like they have a very good marriage, that's what I see when he talks about her. 💑

Once again I wonder what the business owner thinks when they show up the next day to an empty dumpster.

That motor looked like an expensive stepper motor used on industrial robots... Which are expensive, you hit a lick with this one.

I know it’s months too late, but that yellow cable is fiber. It’s very expensive! We use it for huge amounts of storage

Man awesome. I love it when you find new stuff in a dumpster. I recently found a bunch of vise grips and channel lock pliers in a scrap iron dumpster and I was siked. It's a thrill finding that treasure. Good job man.
